The stupidity is breath taking! You can clearly see the equipment hanging below these weather balloons in the first shot. And yes they light up when they float higher, the atmosphere thins and they’re stuck by sunlight. “They seem to be attracted to thunder storms.” Let’s see what causes thunder storms… Could it be, I don’t know, LOW PRESURE SYSTEYMS!?! I can’t imagine that low pressure would cause a balloon or any floating object to float towards it; can you? DOLT!

@Quinirus clearly see? You can't clearly see anything. Who is deluding who here? You obviously see what you want to. Weather balloons only go to near space which is a maximum of 42 KM out while the shuttle orbits at about 350 to 600KM. The diameter of a weather balloon is about 6 meters... so of you think its possible to observe a 6 meter from at the closest 305KM or 190 miles away (that would be right below the shuttle) then yes? But your explanation sounds very unlikely.

@QuantumStates We travel fast distances in space and orbit planets/smash satellites into planets/observe. It makes perfect sense. Dont assume that they are like humans. Assume the opposite. Actually this is old footage. Do you know the whole history behind this? I live in Pasadena, which is less than 2 miles from one of the many Nasa space centers in Houston. I geocache with a lot of Nasa employees. I've been told some interesting things. However, I will say Nasa knows what's going on, but they are still just as puzzled to where its coming from. But it remains friendly, so they stick to their jobs and try to ignore it as much as possible.
