i often drive past the wraith and everything else near the first tower on the ghost and used the spartan laser in the top of the tower, it can kill about 3 brutes with the chieftain easy it could save a lot of time, im not sure if you could survive that on ledgendary though.

When you enter the first tower, if you go to the left, you'll see a pair of crates stacked up, which you can use to jump up to the second level of the room. From there you can hop straight on to the elevator, without having to run around that area or fire a single shot.

Should save some time, and every second counts right?

Unfortunately I haven't found such a thing in the second tower.

Yep, I do use that sometimes. I was able to get this run down to 14:59 using techniques like that. However, that doesn't work on Legendary with all gold skulls on (which is what I usually play) because the bad guys tag you with a grenade before you can get up on the crates. Would it not be quicker to kill the AA wraith and take the hog?

I've done it both ways. On Easy and Normal, yes, it's faster to do it that way. The method I show works for any level of difficulty. On Heroic and Legendary, it simply takes too long to kill everyone (you have to kill not only the AA Wraith, but also the Chieftain and everyone on the hill).

Ahh yea, I get you now, I was just thinking of speed running on that difficulty. So you can employ any of those techniques to do that level? I was wondering why you were de-activating the first shield by lasering first then going in with the ghost, it takes an age to kill everything otherwise.

Yeah, these techniques should work for any level of difficulty. By taking the AA Wraith hill first and grabbing the hog, I can shave minutes off my time vs. the approach this video takes. However, that doesn't work on Heroic and Legendary--you die too easily.
