Jeep SRT 8's are good from a dig but once it gets going the SRT 8 Challenger would have caught him especially if it has twin turbo's. The Jeeps aren't great on top end.
Looked to be an 1/8 mile run. Unless there's a pro driver at the wheel of the Challenger, the 4WD Jeep could almost finish the run before a TT Chally even hooks up.
I still haven't gotten used to those monster jeeps at the drag strip. Your first impression is "Are you serious?" Then that big fucker slingshots out of the hole and you have to pick your jaw up off the floor. What a ridiculously fun vehicle :)

@samanosuke54 They have a 6.1L hemi with 10:1 compression. They are basically a beefed up and bored out 5.7L hemi without the MDS so it gets shitty gas mileage. The only SRT vehicle sold is the Crossfire SRT6 which they stopped making. What a shame!
@samanosuke54 Yeah if you ask me they are the best of the SRT group. I have a buddy that has modded one out pretty well and he is running low 11's. Even from the factory it's amazing how fast those cars are. 330hp and tq in a car that light is outstanding lol.
@NateFosterSR I don't remember saying they were an SRT but whatever. The SRT10 was just never put in anything worthwhile. The viper got shit traction and the side pipes melted your leg when you got out. The SRT10 truck was still slower than the original bad boy the Ford Lightning. So to me they just never did anything with it. So the SRT6 Crossfire for me took the crown as the best SRT vehicle right next to the Cherokee SRT8.

And yours is clearly modified if you are making 505whp so yeah you could beat a lightning. But if you go stock vs stock the lightning runs a 13.4 in the 1/4 to the Ram SRT10's 13.7. Also the SRT10 weighs 400lbs more so hp to weight ratio is on the side of the lightning which is what wins races. And the fastest truck ever is STILL the GMC Syclone. Look it up.
@rextuner03 the cyclone did its runs w/ a procharged turbo which was boosted from stock of about 5 psi up to 25 psi over stock..its only STOCK cause it used the production charger..so the Cyclone isnt the fastest production truck cause its turbo was modded..not 2 mention, gears werent original 3:55's either..so if u want 2 compare production vs production..Ford & the Dodge are the worlds fastest production street truck..the Cyclone..the worlds fastest truck on a LONG STRAIT FLAT GRADE OF SALT
@SebastianLong I don't know what truck you looked up but it wasn't the one that I was talking about. Fastest 1/4 mile time for a truck is the GMC Syclone with a confirmed 13.2 1/4 mile. The one you saw was probably build up for a salt run.

That "shitty 4speed AT" is actually an Allison built transmission that has been known to handle 750whp without needing reinforcement. And all you did was go to some of the forums claiming that this one person got or someone knows someone that got a 13.1. For stuff like this you have to go off what the pros got which is slower than the lightning :)
