recently updated my iphone 3G from 3.1.3 to 4.1 (skipped 4.0.1 and 4.0.2) and finding it a little laggy when launching certain programmes.

Its also randomly crashed a few times and rebooted by itself.

Thanks for posting this been looking for a decent comparison video. I'm hoping 4.2 will have drastic updates for the iphone 3g. I'm hoping for the multitask and faster message opening. Fingers crossed

i've found that jailbreaking and enabling multitasking makes it is much faster. just don't leave your apps suspended in the background.
