I sure miss these sights in downtown. The random bursts of Oh Canada in the skytrains, and just the patriotic flare that came out in us Canadians. It was damn amazing to be apart of this experience of Van2010.

Really going to miss the Olympics. :(

@Br0wnyBA113r as soon school finished on friday (opening day) i ran from 11th street all the way to robson, a whole bunch of me and my friends were screwing around it was hillarious. i loved the olympics.

I use a lightweight camera (Samsung point and shoot digital) mounted on an inexpensive monopod (X shot). It's like putting the camera on the end of a stick. I can't see the viewfinder so it takes practice to get better aim.

@coolster4411 I live in the West End, I'm 65 and retired. I'm a retired photographer so I enjoy getting out and doing video... kind of a learning experience because I was a commercial still photographer (fashion, cars, booze, food, movie stars, etc.) Now I'm retired and I mostly paint.
