  • 3:45 you have the hot for amanda the wall ?!

  • @almozayaf Amanda Waller can be steaming cup of hot chocolate any day.

  • what the f---? half the comic is damn commerciales D:

  • I'm new to comics so should I hut the first print of all the 7 stories I plan to follow or is it not that big of a deal and just keep buying the reprints ?

  • @leon323 my friend, i'm not sure i quite understand your question.

  • dammit, what's that song?

  • @GenghisWanghis song? help me out here it's been a while since i've been back to this video review what song are you talking about?

  • @GenghisWanghis ok i was having a brain fart when i left that first comment to you. that song is "I Was Made for Lovin You" by KISS.

  • i don't know what to tell you about this mission aspect of the story we can't seem to see eye to eye on. i mean the "guy" they were supposed to get turned out to be a dummy rigged with a bomb and after they were all unconscious they found themselves being interrogated by what turned out to be Waller. anyways, what can i say you didn't like anything about it (apparently your not the only one) and i found things about it i did like so far. this isn't gonna ruin your weekend is it?

  • Good review, but I'm not sold on this issue. Amateur artwork & lackluster story telling. My one major gripe - if this group is supposed to take on missions that are near impossible, what does it say when they get captured on their first "mission"? It's one thing to send in people whose lives are expendable, but one important detail is sending in people who might actually accomplish the mission. So far, this team should be called the Incompetents.

  • @Dreadpirate46 but that wasn't a real mission. it was just a set up to make them think they were captured and being tortured for info. on Waller and Task Force X to see which one of em would break. of course the whole thing from start to finish was conducted and probably thought up of by Waller herself. i don't think you can make the case for them being incompetent or for the story to be mediocre. and as for the art are you sure we're talking about the same book?

  • @holseyd As far as the reader & the characters knew until the reveal, it *was* their first mission. And they got caught. That doesn't say much for the team's chances at accomplishing anything. It's a poor way to introduce a team that you want the reader to think "Wow, these people can do anything." and it doesn't do justice to someone like Deadshot. If I was Waller, would I really want to send these people out to do jobs that others can't or won't do? As for the art, I really wasn't impressed.

  • I dug the book. I dug it even more when I started thinking Nu Waller looked like Rosario Dawson. A book that has both Deadshot and Rosario Dawson. One can;t go wrong with that.

  • @Doop3r yeah she could kinda pass for Dawson in that panel. regardless of who's in the book it could still go wrong depending on the writing but for right now i think it's off to a pretty good start although the whole relaunch thing still has me confused. as i suggested in my follow up video i'm going to look at the new Squad as being a series like one long "What If" story like from Marvel. that way i don't get too hung up on all my past SS emotional baggage and read the book more objectively.

  • I was not sold on the cover. I did not have high hopes based on that. Then i read the issue. I completely agree with you about Harley's new look. So, far Detective and Suicide Squad are the books I am really looking forward to issue two.

I noticed that the Green Lanterns in the Flashpoint has what looked like costumes from the movie, i guess it is not much of a stretch that DC would want to change Waller to look like Bassett.

  • @toflymikey it'll take a little getting used to but i don't really have an issue with her new look. the guy who left a comment right next to this one under the screen name Doop3r has a SS#1 review that's a real hoot let me tell ya. plus i have a follow up video to this one where i specifically address all the Waller & Harley drama you can find it under the title " The Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller & Harley Quinn DC relaunch drama ". thanks for dropping by with your thoughts i appreciate it!

  • Dig the Kiss song in the background! Especially since it matches up with Harley Quinn's new paint job.

Belle Reeve? Shout out to Christopher Reeve, or just plain lousy writing?

Funny that Waller got the Jennifer Hudson Weight-loss treatment.

  • same here hey im confuse on one character is savant sport master cause he look alot like sport master

  • @heartbirthbysleep ya know what, i though there was something familiar about the guy with the bugs all over his face. i only know Sport Master from the Young Justice cartoon in which he's much more of a bad ass. well i'm glad to know i'm not the only one out there who's now kinda confused about the relaunch. have you read this issue yet or are you just speaking based on my review? thanks for the comment by the way it's always nice to get some feed back.

  • @holseyd i read it i like it was very interesting getting the next issue 4 sure now tht savant guy confuse me for sure when i look up savant he doesnt look anything like in suicide squa comic he look way 2 much like sportmaster the other one was voltaic know nothing about him n Harley new look is awesome she not goofy looking Harley no more well by look only she still funny king shark new look dont really care tht much about it along he some type of shark tht playing dead thing funny as hell
