dude, check out the fullbag speed styler. it will go really fast and its low so it will be easy to push while commuting

topmount is a speedboard. i have a dervish though and they rock, you can go fairly fast and on the right wheels i can pendy and al sorts of funness

the only thing annoying with longboard is that it doesn't matter what your setup is like, there is always a better way, but no-one seems to care that much. That's the great thing with longboarding. Don't think about it, just go!

longboarding is way more than traveling. longboarding is what you want it to be. carving. cruising. pure speed. and style. and so so so much more. the trucks are designed to ride loose not solid and there are probably 200 different styles of boards from over 300 company's. from pintail. spoon tail. speed deck. drop through, drop decks, anything it is a ton of fun no matter what board you have and how you ride
