Didi they remove it because of a mechanical problem or just because it was old, because Dreamworld would be much better with more than just one real roller coaster

I MISS THIS ROLLER COASTER!! first rollercoast i ever went on!! awww sad thing is that they got rid of it after they built the cyclone next to it coz ppl were to scared to ride it coz it was old and squeeked unlike the cyclone!! booo!!

i went on the off season and didnt line up for any rides it was great, but i think wet n wilds fly coaster baets anything else or the vomatron in surfers paradise as its unreal couldnt get enough of that lol

Too bad they got rid of it to put in the Cyclone, which in my opinion was shit - just the que alone is painful and then it's such a short ride that hurts your neck.

@MisterCheese43 that ride was on the gold coast in australia.... I walk through the entrance (which still stands) everyday to get to work at Dreamworld....

@nathanhasc00kies No, it's the former "Thunderbolt" rollercoaster in 1999. Back then, the Cyclone was at Luna Park Sydney, before moving to DW in 2001.

@LachlanFord the cyclone and thunderbolt were running at the same time for a space for 2-3 years before the Thunderbolt was demolished. The Thunderbolt was where WhiteWater world currently stands. Hope that puts it into perspective for you.

If I remember correctly, the Thunderbolt was the first roller coaster to have a double loop. It was a great ride!
