Do the staff at Didcot still allow the public to get that close to the trains, or have the Health and Safety bods gone into some morphic spasm over it? I used to go all the time when I was a kid and I loved it, might look to go back again some day.
Great Video, 5 stars! Interesting railway, videos from on board the train are always interesting, check out my drivers eye view video of The Bekonscot Model Railway. It would be great to get 7808 Steaming again and on the mian line!
Great vid mate. The halt featured at the beginning there was a great place to watch fast trains go by. I used to sit there looking out for Class 47s on the Virgin Cross Country services. Shame those nasty Voyagers had to come along.
Thanks! Yes i saw quite a few Vomiters pass while i was there, one passed right before the steam train arrived at the halt, but i was trying to get my tripod set up so i didnt get it on video. Sadly not much good stuff left to watch in Didcot on the mainlines now. I guess 57's if you want to go at night!
