Kasabian have come of age on this album, the whole record sounds genuinley more confident and musically adept than their previous records. On previous albums, It sounded like they were experimenting with different sounds and influences & not quite knowing how to cohese those ideas into consistently great records. However, this album just sounds masterful. Kasabians time is now, with the implosion of Oasis, they no longer need to bow at the Oasis alter and the world is theirs for the taking.!

That's incorrect, they both sing separate verses, check the album details, tom does vocal backing towards the ending sequence, tom though does sing this song live most of the time, they both sang on the song and then mixed

It's actually tom who sings it and sergio is on backing vocals, just ordered a rare version of this album and shows a few early secret gigs, sergio mostly sings this live but in the studio toms voice was dubbed over sergios during the final mixing proccess

If u listen 2 it on the album & fast forward it, u'll find a bonus track - Its a remix of Reason is Treason. That's why there's a massive gap at the end.

Kasabian is the band. The guy singing is guitarist Serge Pizzorno, the song is called U-Boat, which is on their eponymous debut album :)

the guy singing is tom meighan, i was a sound engineering assistant on the studio platform when they recorded their first album. Plus tom meighan sings this on all the lives.

Tom meighan does sing this song, back in 2004 after 2 weeks after the release of the album, they played a secret gig up near hampshire, this is when tom meighan announced the orignal drummer was leaviing. he then went onto sing it and said, here is a song that was a bastard to sing for me in the studio. I've seen kasabian since then and tom always sings it, sergio does the backing rythm guitaring to it. check the song details, sergio wrote it, but tom sang it

(But, for practicing, I'm going to write in english) :) I agress with you, I also like the 1st album most. it is so subtile. much melodies are subtile and very, very good and catch you into a (day)dream. it's more with electro-influences, more "underground". it's hard to find words. what is it you like the most about the first album?

one correction of my mistake: it was a false writing because of the keyboard (do you understand?) or because of a thing, that cause me to a daydream :), I know that it's "agree".

this song reminds me of industry, grey concrete grounds and heaven/sky. I mostly like the end of the song. bombastic. I want to go to a concert!... so, come to Germany soon.
