@cocopelli34 I would agree that this is true in the case of traditional forms, but I also think it's obvious that Mr. Dingmann wasn't trying to perform a traditional kata. A lot of these techniques were not even around when kata were originally developed. This form is mostly for show, which is fine; it just means that there will be misunderstandings like this, in which one person believes this to be an attempt at a creative spin on traiditinoal martial arts, when it's really just a performance
