  • Alright everyone. I wanted to clear up EVERYONES troubles here just to make it a little easier on the owner.

If you don't have the Build option on your Toolbar. This is what you need to do.

In your toolbar look for "Tools"

then click it and scroll down to "Settings"

Set your settings from "Basic Settings" and CHANGE it to "Expert Settings"

it shouldn't take more then 5 seconds to change them and BOOM. Build is now on your toolbar.

THUMBS UP TO LET THE NEWBIEZ KNOW!

  • yes

exe files in the debug folder do not use other files to work if moved

  • if i sent that exe file to a friend will be working??

  • 1:42 JIZZ

  • You can also click the "Build" icon and it will build the product, then go to the folder containing this project and its there. Just letting you know that the way you did was simplified by just pressing "Build".

  • @shadowjaagup Go to Tool>Settings>Expert Settings

  • @shadowjaagup Because you are probably using the express version

  • This method deals with serious problems, i have a 64bit win7, and my made programs doesn't work in winXP 32bit. why is there no simple button [create EXE file] ?

  • @tijs14tijs I'm not sure, Microsoft probably didn't want to make the program like EXTREMELY to simple.

  • @iMakeVBTuts Lol thats mac's thing :D

  • @iMakeVBTuts whaha yeah... A while later I solved my problem.

Vb doesnt compile blahblahblah. (i was running a gay 32bit windows on a 64bit machine and i only had the 64bit libs XD)

I solved it and learnt VB. It's great and useful ;)

  • @tijs14tijs Maybe bacause of NetFramework

  • @tijs14tijs Maybe because of net framework version

  • Nice video, thanks for the tutorial and the tips!
