i liked his review even with the fx in place Wolverine was still not a good film in my opion it was just ok at best. i think giveing Logan bone claws were not a good move sinse in x-1 his x rays showed his claws are man made implants. another thing is the lab scene and escape looked nothing like his dreams nightmares from 1 and 2. and the lab set in Wolverine looked nothing like the x-2 set so according to Wolverine Logan got his claws in two diferent rooms that makes no sense.

I saw the movie. I felt like the major flaws with the movie came from them fucking up the comic origins of the characters. Gambit didn't get enough time, Deadpool, while cool, wasn't done like his Comic self, & I didn't even know that was supposed to be Emma Frost.

However, all that aside, I thought the movie was very good. Great action, fun little revenge plot, and overall I was entertained.  If you forgive the flaws with the supporting cast, then you'll enjoy it.

Dude...this review is fail. The only good things about this movie, was Hugh, Leiv, Ryan, and the begining. The movie bastardized wolverine's story.

Even if u look at it out of the comic books, the story is sloppy, wolverine gets his adamantium to avenge his gf who died but then isnt dead she was faking it, also faking loving him, but then not really faking it? UGH cliche upon cliche (vomits) it sucked.

Let me point to one issue that tanks the whole film: 3 Mile Island. First off, this creates a continuity problem with the other movies because Cyclops is in the movie. The 3 Mile Island incident took place in 1979. That would make Cyclops over 40 years old in the first movie.

The only scenes that gave the movies any weight were tiny and pointless to what passed for a plot.

Magneto's concentration camp scene in 1 pyro's psycho moment in 2 and archangels childhood scene in 3.

For those rare moments they got the tone right and actually hit upon the seriousness of the material, the rest was a waste of time.

Also crap team dynamic, crap casting except for maybe magneto and xavier.

In my opinion the old cartoon series was way better than the movies.

I've been a wolverine fan since day one. It's the comic that got me into comics and I was so pumped for this flick...... and it was the worst thing i've ever seen. It was horrible. If you're a real fan you're gonna be very disappointed. The story was butchered from beginning to end. I actually didn't find the movie to be THAT bad. What really holds this movie back is how Fox didn't know what the fuck to do with Deadpool, so they kill him off 5 minutes into the movie after a couple of one-liners then they bring him back about an hour later, only to show how much they can royally fuck up a character and then kill him off again.

Of course, I'm hoping the leaked one DOES have an alternate ending like I've heard about, or they show us in a future movie a REAL Deadpool.

Wolverine was a sickly kid when he was young, his ability manifested when he saw his father gunned down by Tom Logan... originally the bone claws were not canon, the comic changed that though when he had the adamantium ripped from him by magneto.

The script is bad and the action is generic. Insert helicopter, insert explosion, etc. Yes Wolverine is pissed and getting revenge, but here his character is very monotone. Where are his sarcastic jokes? The X-men movies gave his character some depth. He was the guy we could identify with because sometimes he stands back from the comic book plotline and makes tongue in cheek comments (much like the Han Solo charater in Star Wars) Here, he just rages around and strains his neck muscles.
