I'm install the riped version (no music and vid) onto EEE 4G with 4G SSD stock HD and stock 512RAM and with this popular VGA hacked driver for custom resolution and must say the game work flawlessly ;) may be the HDD USB I/O is low in your case and game lagged ;) try to install it in EEE and istall this -ebostr (find it in google) and you can see the result ;) Bye bye and continue the trying games on EEE ;) this is really cool to make it work :P on this tinny LAPTOP :P

I used to play NFS: MW on:

Laptop:

AMD Sempron 3000+ (1.7 GHz)

512 mb DDR2 RAM (384 mb only due to graphics card sharing)

ATI X200

Judging by the 900 Spec's thats not a bad frame rate, however hand it over to the best mini laptop, the Advent 4211, that has a 128mb graphics card, it is the most powerfull mini laptop and only £220, I play HL2 on full on it :P

Well...

The MSi and Advent are the same, but you'll have to flash the BIOS on your MSi to v1.09, this allows system overclocking, then over clock you MSi to 24%, this boosts your graphics mem from 64mb to 128mb, technically it would run faster than the eee in this video...

Just to tell you now, overclocking will increase the frame rate on the game between, 5-15 FPS maybe more if your lucky :)

My bios is over 1.09 it's 1.23 (i think). If I choose to 24% will my processor overheat??? I think it won't but how much hotter will it get? I currently have it set to 8%.

Well this is how it works for me, on v1.09 BIOS...

Basically, what you do is, you start at 8% try it on a game, if that works move up to 12%, try the game again, once that works move it to 24% (highest)

The whole thing is made by MSi so 24% is the max they recommend without damaging your system

As you already (or should) know, is that the system is only overclocked when it is plugged in and you've pressed Fn + F10 to enable Turbo Mode, mine is on all day no overheat ;)

I tried it on 24% and it's working with no problems. It didn't get much hotter according to SpeedFan. Only about 5°C. I'll post a vid to see the difference between 24% or turned turbo off.

It´s not that bad, I play GTA San Andreas on it and it runs allright. By the way Most Wanted minimum requirements are lower than EEE 900´s hardware.
