I think you'd enjoy experimenting with 90% rubbing alcohol. It bends the paint colors, so I imagine that if you drip alcohol while the painting is spinning, you'll get really cool effects.
Another technique that could be cool on your set up is painting the canvas a bright color, letting it dry, painting over it with black, and then lifting off the black paint by blotting with newspaper to expose the bright color below.
