@swingmma nope because that is what made Al b Sure. That is what distingushed him from his cousin Christopher Williams. They pratucally look like twins. lol.
@spricket42 Roberta Flack's version, the original, is the best. But Al B Sure's is good, and so is Lauryn Hill's. But I'm a child of the 80's so I have a soft spot for Al B's version....
@Oneida2Fairfax The best version is debatable, but the first version is actually from Lori Lieberman. I encourage all music fans to check it out, you can truly feel her emotion come through.
November 19th, 1988 I went to his concert in Phoenix, Az. My daugher is now 21, to make a long story short! We got married and had 3 more daughters! Talk about memories!

If you are talking about that kid who look just like him then you need to know somethings
On His Myspace they have a lot of pics of Al B with his sons + on that kid`s Sweet 16(gay show if you ask me) he got 2 cars and they mentioned that one of them was from Al B sure
as most kids when your parents are not together you stick with your mother. but that don`t mean your father don`t claim you even if he don`t financially support you(considering your mom`s boyfriend is Diddy)
This song came out during the spring/summer of 1988. I was 15 and on my way to school (Boys and Girls H.S. in Brooklyn) when I heard this song coming from some dude's car. I was already a fan of Roberta Flack's version. When I heard Al B's version, that shit just blew me away. I could not get this song out of my head that whole school day. When I got my lil check from working after school, I went out and got this album. Me and my girl would listen to the "Nite" side ALL DAYUM NITE!
@manfocused I was 18, Newtown High School Queens and I did the same thing, went bought the tape, lol, and listen to it every day with the cheerleader team. I miss those days!!!!!
@manfocused I'm with you on that one man! i was 16 and could not get enough of it and actually met my first true love while bumping this jam. Do they make music like this anymore??
I heard trhis on the radio last night and had to come straight home and listen to it.... didn't know he did a version of this song. This is singing with emotion!

teddy riley was all about the synthesizer. If you listen close enough you can hear the keys being played except for the drums, and that machine...it slips my mind but its the most basic equipment.
I always thought this was the best remix ever done. A totally different approach to the song. i love that background vibe he uses, it really makes it feel like a haunting melody, and heck, it's always haunted me right?
