Hey, quick question, I'm interested in getting the ESP N-SS-500 but its kind of $5k and your Grassroots almost fooled me if it wasn't for the head stock. I have some technical questions if you don't mind. First, how thin/thick is the neck, and would you happen to know of another guitar that feels similar? Second is well does the guitar keep the tuning after using the whammy bar excessively? Finally if there are any other issues you may have with it personally? Thanks in advanced =]

I'm going to be buying The Grassroots G-NH-70 rather soon so for anyone wanting to know what A grassroots is like read on =)

They are the entry level esp guitars They are good for the price you are buying which lets face it is the look of the Guitar lol.

to point out the diffrances in the esp the first would be price (£2600 for the ESP ver £500 for grassroots) This is mostly down the the wood used, pick-ups and craftsmanship. The grassroots are factory made esps are hand made by one person..

..... The pick ups in the esp ver are Seymour Duncan's (best you can get really) and the grassroots are just stock esp ones.

The wood in the esp is alot better (ebony fretboard ect) than the grassroots too but that not so much a big deal to me.

The brigde on the esp is a Floyd rose wearers the grassroots its the same but not made by floyd rose.

Anyway if your just getting into guitars and want to step up for the chepp £100 stuff to something better then grassroots is ideal.

no it only cost 630$ , im buying the esp edward 130gt its exactly like aoi's guitar in cassis but its black , its gunna cost me 999$ probaly more cause of shipping

how does the GrassRoots G-NS-70 play? please can you give me a descriptive review, as i am thinking about buying one when i go to japan in december this year, and you are the only one who has actually played the grass roots model so id like to know how it is ie/ clear sound with the stock pickups? etc etc

listen i know im not a pro but do not buy a grassroots , thier cheap imitations of the real thing , buy a forest gt or forest g , or adleast a Esp horizon nt-2 , the forest gt is 5000$ or 3000$ not sure , but esp horizon nt-2 is like 1600$ , just dont buythe grassroots , trust me

Well only differences between this and the real model are: Ball shaped with ESP logo at the end(real), ebony fretboard(real), floyd rose(real), and seymour duncan pickups(real). The cheaper model 1(grassroots) is with just a flat grassroots logo, rosewood fingerboard, floyd rose liscensed, stock pickups, and factory made with materials a little cheaper. That's basically it. You can change the pickups so there will be only like 2 thing different about quality :] its just my observations im noob.

are the pickups stock? im considering getting a g-nh-70 as a spare guitar, which is hitsugi's signature, it's supposed to be the same pickups as sakito's grassroots signature

it's Esp pickups.But so added 300€ for a edwards forest, That of bought a grassroots
