  • SUDO OR TYPE T???

    can be a mini diansheng?

  • uhh

    ur a dick.

  • how many cm is the spring?

  • can i use my type a 3 spare springs?

  • dose it have to be a spring from a type d?

  • i tried this with springs from a pen (like the one where u press a button and the tip comes out) and... err... it basically didnt cut corners. if i loosend it enough that it can, the cube is really loose (making it fall apart). if i tightened all the way, the spring will unscrew the screw. i did try it with uncut type a springs, but it made the cube loose and hard to turn. :(

  • nvm i fixed it

  • pen springs are made for pens, these are made for cubes

  • i said i tryed it with diy type a springs. didnt work. and i got a qj so its fine

  • i know what you mean. I tried it on my last eastsheen 4x4x4.

  • I tried it on my last and only Eastsheen 4x4. xD

  • when u say doesnt cut corners very well, it still can cut corners ok right?

  • yes, enough to speedsolve

  • ok then thats awesome!

  • that was not even good

  • is it the same thing as the 5x5?

  • i put duck tape round my 5x5 so the pieces didnt fall off

  • that's a good idea, but you should rap it around your cube with teh sticky side facing you so that it doesnt rip your stickers off.

  • @camcuber Or use a less tacky tape like masking or painters tape?

  • I have a old type a, but the spring is to long. Should I cut it down, and does it work?

  • i've never tried a type a spring. it should work, but I am not sure

  • It doesn't need to fit in the whole, right? Cause the whole is soo small...

  • no way lol, that thing is SMALL!

  • Ok, Thank you soo much for answering and that fast! I am going to try with the springs on a ball pen, so I don't need to waste the type a springs, but thanks!!!

  • @lnusagi THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!!

  • i have a big washer from a old type f, sould i use it for the mod?

  • I don't think so, but it's your choice

  • dude, the whole cube went scidosh and blew up :( the springs seem real tight

  • hmmm.... where you doing a solve, or did it just blow up?

  • i was just screwing around with it about 5 secs after i put the screew back in

  • wat does the spring do?

  • give it tolerance

  • Do you seriously need six minutes to tell me to put springs from a Sudo cube/Type D in an ES 4x4/5x5? It's a nice video though, but it didn't need so much time.

From my experience however, it seems that most springs do not get stuck on the center piece, but rather go through all the way to the core when inserted into an es 4 or 5. If this is the case with your mod, it's useless. You would need to do something to get the spring stuck on the centerpiece, just like on a DIY.

  • this tut is awesome buttttt my 4x4 es broke yesterday :'( gosh im so sad! and im broke right now so i have to stick to my rubiks

  • Thanks for posting this video. I works perfectly on my 4x4. im gonna lube it and probably make a video.

  • srry i couldnt hear what u said. just to make sure, its a sudo cube from walmart?

  • ya the saprings that i use are sudo cube springs from walmart, but you can also use a type d diy cube

  • happy 100th vid.

  • this didn't work well for me, oh well

  • well, did you get the spring in? Cause at first, it didn't for me either, but i took it out and put it back in and it was better

  • Well the spring fits but when I tighten it, it doesn't cut corners well.

  • did you have it all the way tightened?

  • yeah but then it moves slow

  • i would loosen it A LITTLE and then lube it again with CRC Heavy Duty Silicone

  • I tried loosening it a little and it was as fast as it was without the spring but still couldn't cut corners too good

  • oh, well i'm sorry to hear that, because mine works amazingly and cuts cornewrs great, all that i would say now is to use it with the springas fore a few solves and maybe the springs will "break in"

  • maybe you have to use shorter springs (or cut them down a little)

  • thanks
