  • Thank you :)

  • its good but not right

  • It is really nice one....

To make it better i have added "Chat Masala" over it (after getting out from oven).

    Try this..

  • Why do you write it all. Its.not a classroom. .this is youtube.

  • hey? where's the tandoor?

  • the recipe called for teaspoons,of spices to one cup of yogurt but when you actually added the spices to the yogurt, it look more like tablespoons of spices.

  • you could have just dump the chicken in the yogart/spice mixture to marinade.. save dishes

  • Thank you bro, you are the best.

  • Chef,

In NYC I never saw tandoori chicken breast. Only leg quarters. Can you do the chicken breast also. What other meat can be tandoori'ed?

  • @12quillemall5321 Yes you can use Chicken breasts. All meat can be cooked in Tandoor, but it depends how its cooked and the ingredients change as well

  • Thanks for my fourth of july speciality! Tandoori chicken with homemade Naan. Something besides the same old, same old routine.

  • Looking forward to trying this. Thank you.

  • dude u r supposed to use ginger-garlic paste.!!! Also while marination u gota put some lemon juice.

  • Please listen to the end of the viedeo. he did mentioned lemon juice. Ginger garlic can be either choped or paste. depends on what you like. cooking is an art. you can adapt any way as far as it is ok to eat.

  • @amazingrace25 .. i

adapt too much can as well call it grilled chicken and add some barbecue sauce on it.

  • cool man...... good job. i am trying it first

  • I will try this. . .and thank you for Not having chattering people in the background. I could clearly hear every single word! Thank you!!!

  • thanks for the video..

i was goin to make tandori chicken today for party and i hv no idea how to make..

  • This is a good video the main thing for me was that I could read the recipe so there was no chance that I would get the ingredients wrong.

This is the cook/chief to watch if your interested in Indian cooking.

  • thanks for this, will cook tmrw :)

  • Thank you so much for sharing this!

  • very clear and helpful video. thank you

  • Better than Expert Village! Hehe! =D

It looks pretty simple so I'll try and cook it up tomorrow!

  • Very well said. this video is amazing. Guy can teach how to cook.

  • Absolutely amazing recipe. Tandoor is my favorite way to prepare chicken.

  • Can u pls tell em what the red powder is?

  • food coloring, yuk, I use kasmiri mirch [type of paprika] normal paprika, or tomatoe paste..

Food coloring is ilegal in india

  • chilli powder probably

  • I will try this and then garnish it with mint or cilantro leaves.

  • Cool video.

I do it a bit different by rubbing on the tandoori masala on after brushing the chicken with lemonjuice (and red food colouring sometime) then coating it with the yogurt mix with fresh garlic and ginger and some more spice.

But this way I think I'll switch because it's so much easier with less clean up and mess, and I'm sure a great taste. Good job n thankz

  • thanks ill try it

  • I think you did a good job with this recipe - I tried it and it came out great. Thanks

  • we dont eat milk and chicken togather,,, what can replace curd,,,???

  • hey, maybe you can use vegitarian yogurt made from soy if it exist? Or else you can just marinate it in some sauce but first rub the powders on and in the chicken with a bit of lemonjuice.

    I think that will work?

  • You can replace with lemon juice.

I don't use yogurt. This will reduce the marination time

  • I cooked for some Jewish friends the other day, and knowing that they had the same restriction, I used soy yogurt. Couldn't even tell the difference!

  • where is the finished product???

  • I think Tandoori chicken is best executed using boneless skinless thigh meat.

Also, I like to put my marinade in a zip bag to make sure the meat is more evenly coated.

  • thankz man for teach me hw i can make thiz n week end ill try tat..............

  • Thanks for the recipe! Can you also make chicken madras?

  • how about gulab jamun?

  • great explanation thanks . next how to make seekh kabab long one beef and chiken

  • tandoori chicken awesome WHOO

  • those look lik there are huge teaspoonfuls of your spices!

  • Suresh, try adding turmeric powder, 2 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of vinegar to the same quantity as you've shown on your video clip. Try it and let me know @ daoud52rafik@yahoo Also, it'd be allot easier to put the chicken pieces in the marinate bowl.

  • 350 degrees. Ok got it! Let me go put that chicken in the oven now. Thank You Sureshji!

  • thats the first cooking lesson ive seen that doesnt go near a kitchen....

  • hey, you didn't have tumeric on your list
