I'm hoping to see an extra game play mechanic where you can make a deliberate offer to do a special double up move on someone that can be accepted or declined. If this is done, and some nice little combos where a friend can grapple or toss the enemy up and the other can bring the pain, it could make for quite the experience.
Kind of like in the old arcade wrestling fighter that was brought out long ago where Undertaker could jump way up with a tombstone pile driver, and the other drop kick them.
This deffenatly takes a page out of the multi player fighters that the Dreamcast was starting to really pioneer. I say true to the Powerstone comments, remind of a small cult classic called Heavy Metal: Geomatrix, and another little shooter for the Dreamcast that would've been great if the lag delay didn't trash it to the point only flame throwers hit people.
This one could be Sega's first memorable break out in a while. Now get someone to do the net code right and bring home the bacon.
@MrHydroman42 this game does not take place in the MadWorld Universe, its a totally dif universe & story, witch is why Bayonetta could fit in, i dnt think they will put her in but it would b nice if they did.
@streetbwoy It is because A: Jack is there and he still has the same relation to Leo while the Black Baron is back as well and he has the same relation to Jack and Mathilda and B: Of what I have understood so far of the story Jack is now a mercenary who works solo while Leo (after getting his limbs replaced because of the fall in the first game) joined a group of mercenaries wich consists of Sasha and Nikolai and they all seem to work for a somewhat comon goal but want to get there first
@streetbwoy yes I have but in ,say mortal kombat, Kratos fits in with the style of the game but bayonetta is a semi medieval, semi modern day character who also is a witch and uses magic. Madworld is a futuristic almost steampunk game with biotechnology and cybernetic implants. see what I mean yet or are you just too stubborn because you wan't bayonetta to be in another game?
@MrHydroman42 I dont really think it matters with crossover characters. I mean they are putting Freddy in mortal kombat now and he has nothing to do with that universe. They are even putting cole from infamous in street fighter x tekken and he has nothing to do with either of those games or worlds. My point is Bayonetta in this game is not so far fetched as some of the the other crossover characters in other games.
@MrHydroman42 its like ThakingT said, plus remember Bayonetta slept for 500 yrs to be played in the time the game took place, she could easily sleep another few hundred yrs n wake up in the time for this one...meaning all that u said just became pointless, anyways she is kinda too powerful to be in this game, she is already getting her other game (Bayonetta 2) so what do u mean by "because you want Bayonnetta to be in another game".

Snake doesn't really fit into smash brothers but you can oversee that because the game doesn't take itself seriously at all. And in a game with a guy who as a huge mechanical hand with a chainsaw and a giant mechanical bull I don't think that a stripping witch would

Iwould prefer if she would (if she nessecarily needs to be in another game) appear in maybe mortal kombat where she fits in a bit more (but they would ofcourse need to have her power down like freddy krueger did if she would be in it

@MrPrototypz have u played Bayonetta? she has all the time she needs to destroy any1, not to mention her hair & her weapons, like i said, they would have to seriously nerf her for a game like this.
@MrPrototypz Might I also add this is a sci-fi base setting and Bayonetta is magic. Therefore she won't fit in unless her character is remodeled too such, thus making a Bayonetta in looks and name only
