@awsomexperson Well, I used a lot of those default line tools. Doing it on a mouse is easier if it has the lazer instead of the ball on the bottom.....and loads of patience. I have a tablet now but my lines look too sketchy to make a speed paint video. I can't draw a perfect picture on these....maybe cos I try to finish the work fast instead of taking time like I do on paper.

@TheTragicNightmare I got a Bamboo: Create that came with Photoshop Elements 8.0 for only $100. Working really good so far. The best parts are that you can actually rest your arm on the tablet while drawing, and the pen + tablet itself don't need any batteries.

@PaintbrushOHell I got a Bamboo too the day after I posted that comment for like 70 but since I payed for like some kind of insurance or whatever to replace it for free if it messes up I had to pay 120. I'm having a hard time using it because I'm not used to drawing on the tablet and looking at the screen, it's a bit confusing but practice makes perfect. But that's only when I draw non-scanned images.

@cutiefoxyify Well, Using the mouse can be easier if you use paintool sai's lines.

You can find the lines on a lineart layer and then use the curve. I recommend you draw on a paper and then use the mouse's lineart layer line tools to go over the drawing. It's easier than drawing over it with the mouse. There are curve and straight lines.

and then colouring with the mouse really isn't...challenging because you have the selection tools and layers. It's not too hard.

@Loveless6676 If you can draw yourself, get a pen and touch tablet (a tablet that you can connect to the PC (or laptop ;P) that comes with a special pen. The '& touch' versions also work with your fingers. This makes airbrushing and light touches a little easier.

For instance, Walmart has them for 30 to 40-ish for the cheaper models.

I say go look for some. If you're unsure of your own needs you could try a cheap one first or read reviews and pick the one you like best/has the best review in your eyes.
