This is cove trying to sing like anthony. It was his first song and he was still trying to just fill A.Green's shoes. Yes there is a version with different lyics. This is the orignal, as part of an EP. When it was recorded on the self titled album the lyircs changed, in many subtle ways. for example I could never the ion vein changed to I could never love -your eyes have changed.

I have loved this song for the past 5 years of my life. To clear everything up this version is sung by Anthony Greene ( sorry folks) you can tell the difference between anthonya voice and cove because AG has such amazing vocals he can reach a octave higher and for some reason strikes a hymn inside of me that couldn't be the same with cove for this song. This was the first song I heard from saosin but I've come to love both bands in terms of difference and perspectives of life

theres 2 versions, this is the original off the EP, the [demo] version. The other is off the album, lyrics and tone of voice vary a bit with both. I prefer this version, the one you hear here is actually live. The drumming is more defined in this one :D
