  • DO YOU TIME AND GET OUT THAT IT YOUR IN BIG BIG SHIT NOW NO HOME NOW

  • You signed a contract. Honor the contract. When your time is up, then leave. You enjoyed the benefits but they do not come free.

  • @god4488 Supposedly, Germany announced in April 2011 that they have refused his sought for asylum. Personally, as a German I am ashamed my country did not accept his asylum. We should always stand for what is right, not judge things on political standards. He did the right thing, and deserved to stay here in Germany. But I understand that this could have tarnished the US-German relations in the political spectrum, but I still stand by André Shepherd, a true man.

  • @mofohains Bullshit!!! Signed, A Vietnam Era and Cold War Veteran!! Just because the USA decides to go to war does not make it moral or legal!!

  • @mofohains Bullshit!!! Signed, A Vietnam Era and Cold War Veteran!!

  • AMEN Andre'...I stand with you and I am a Veteran of the US Military!!

  • @mofohains By all means have an ARMY to protect your nation, but do not under any circumstance allow your corrupt fucking leaders to use the nations protective army to INVADE another nation that clearly had no WMD (PROVEN).

Note, rather than spout bullshit, trying to promote yourself like some war vet or some shit, how about you recognise the beginning of the issues rather than all the shit that stemmed from it.

Your government initially sold them WMD for their own gain (PROVEN)

    You Murderer.

  • american pilots are very trigger happy in fact the USAF discovered that Unmanned drones armed with missles were less trigger happy because the pilots were safely at base. unmanned drones were less likely to kill civilians by accident

  • 'Dissent Is the Highest Form of Patriotism' - Thomas Jefferson

  • @YoungZer0 Good Quote!

  • This is a true american patriot! Welcome to Germany, Mr Shepherd!

  • Imagine the courage it takes to desert? The propaganda machine of your country will call you coward or even traitor, you will have to leave his friends/family and so on. It would be much easier to fight a war, in which you do not believe in.

I do not think that the US and their allies are fighting for their country in Iraq. We all know why there is so much military in Iraq,Saudi Arabia: Geostrategic reasons including oil.

"Nobody has the right to obey" Arendt H.

    This is a hero.

  • @AustrianAtheist I agree 100%

  • i got a rope for u too!

  • im sorry the COWARDLY TRAITOR should be hung! A bullet to good for him! you can join him on the gallows. Never admire a coward, traitor, and deserter scum!

  • @rixmits OH SHIT SOMEONE WITH A CONSCIENCE! KILL HIM! QUICK!

  • @rixmits Prick!

  • Nutsack sat on a base and fixed helicopters, thinks he knows something about iraq.

  • @jim56o45 oh ,care to enlighten us about Iraq, Mr Book of f**king knowledge?

    Like your some expert!

Note: I don't give a toss if you've been, but you need to recognise, your not an expert or a Mr fucking know it all. In fact all the experts sit in a safe area on US soil drinking tea, whilst dick heads like you buy into everything they tell you.

You're like patriotic lemmings, except you're less smart.

You're so patriotic, that you've become blind to reality... Wake the fuck up!

  • fucking traitor! He should be shot! What part of ARMY did he not understand? All he had to do was refuse deployment and be Dishonorably Discharged like the trash he is!

  • Do never ever call anyone traitor. This is what the fascists called the people who did not want to fight for their dictatorship.

"He should be shot" You are just disgusting.

You do not have agree with the guy, but you must admit he is very courageous

  • @nonameposter I agree with you 100%

  • Welcome to germany, Mr. Shepherd! :-)

  • I'm very proud of this soldier! Our country should provide shelter for him! A very courageous man...

  • SnuffGunnion,

I havent turned a bind eye to anything. Spc Shepard had 2 years and 3 months before he received deployment orders again after coming back from Iraq the first time. During those 2 years and 3 months he enjoyed Germany and Collected an US Army Paycheck. And guess what, he was just riding his enlistment out turning a blind eye buddy. He just so happened to get orders to redeploy and it affected him, so he is doing this now.

  • Turn the page man. He doesn't support these wars and neither should you. Stay on point. Let's hear your justification for the slaughter and all of the crimes that have been committed. Don't forget to factor in all of the US Soldiers and innocent civilians who have be killed and/or injured. Their lives have been destroyed. Not only have you turned a blind eye to reality, you follow them blindly. Wake up troop. Smell the coffee.

  • you are right, more people have been killed in iraq than in saddams regime. Iraq did nothing to the u.s . We became fanatics of killing innocent people that we had to go to the weak and practice shooting at them. The saudis blew up the twin towers not the iraquis. north americans are no longer the good people, they are greedy. I see what they want to do in colombia.

  • @SnuffGunnion I was stationed in Germany two times during the Cold War. I returned to the USA in 1990 but returned a couple of times to Germany. Now I am back in the US but had I known that my country was going to become a "Police State", I would have stayed in Germany. Germany, with all its faults, I believe has at least not lost its moral compass!!

  • The reality of his case is that he joined the Army and lived the good life in Germany, bars, German women ect. When it came time for him to leave it behind for Iraq then he became a conscientious objector. Same sh*t different person! If the Army had not called on him to redeploy to Iraq do you really think we would be hearing him speak now? I hope he is somewhere reading this.. if I see him in Regensburg (I am in Germany too) I will make sure he meets up with some MP's, no question about it!

  • GSG-9 will be all over you for interfering with government issues thats what they consider this. So if you want to leave Here in good condition, watch it, you gave them your name and location already.

  • SPC Shepard, I went to the bars with you in Germany, served in Iraq with you. In the military you have to be a postive presence and a positive influence. Some soldiers do the wrong thing and you cant help that. I was stopped lossed for 348 days during this last deployment, I didnt like it but I deployed to support my brothers in arms to make sure that I had a positive influence to bring them back home alive. You could have done this fiasco in Feb 05when you came back from Iraq.

  • SPC Shepherd has every right to follow his conscience. This war was started on a lie and continues to be a crime against humanity. Every soldier has the responsibility to uphold the law of the land and the tenets of humanity. Torture, murder & rape are not condoned under any circumstances. Too much of that has go on and yes soldiers like you have turned a blind eye to the facts.

  • SnuffGunnion, you are using sensationalism. First of all, no good Commander would ever order his troops to Torture, Murder or Rape anyone. To torture, murder or rape is illeagal under US military policies. And I agree with you, individuals that do these horrible crimes should face the penalties for their actions. And yes you are right it does happen unfortunately.

  • As a Viet Nam Veteran I also know the horrors of war and I know what it takes to step up and do the right thing and not go along with the flow. Many of my fellows soldiers rebelled against a corrupt system and helped to bring the Viet Nam war to a close.

  • And your point is? That American Soldiers like Spc Shepard need to enlist during a time of war when we have troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and then go AWOL as soon as they get ready to deploy and screw over the units they trained with. This is not the right way to be active against a war.

  • Just because you were an "obedient" soldier does not give you the right to castigate those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for speaking out. They have become the targets of insane and assanine attacks. All of that "My Country, Right or Wrong" is just nonsense. What would it take for you to gather up enough nerve and tell the truth about this war?

  • @learningfromlife You're full of shit and spineless....

Supporting your BROTHERS would be you doing what this guy has done, by speaking out without fearing repercussion from your BROTHERS or the same criminal enterprise that put yourself & your brothers in arms way, off the back of a lie (WMD).

A lie that has been acknowledged by the same criminal enterprise that concocted it, who still continue to push forward off the back off it, costing billions of US dollars, a nation & life. (M, W & C)

  • he accepted the bigger truth

  • When enlisting and cannot be a man to face it

  • he should have never enlisted in the first place he knew the penalty for desertion and should be in prison
