  • (1:10) I wonder if Wile E. Coyote was the one who dropped that piano?

  • @1972simba1: Yep, the "caveman" guy is Rockin' Richard.

And about Jim Henson, well there were some things Jim did on Sesame Street that were either mind-boggling or just plain frightening; but in both cases, very, very memorable. That was what made Jim a true Muppet genius.

Man, Sesame Street in the 70's was such a carefree time.

  • @TelephoneRock4ever Do you suppose Rockin' Richard is really a caveman? if so, is his father Mr. Moses? (watch the Sesame Street Newsflash "First Day of School" and you will see what I mean)

  • @Cuteblondie1972: I understand why this would scare you, but Rockin' Richard's eyes.....well, that's the comic relief for me. He's so hilarious.

  • It's a little hard to see, but watch for Richard's hair at 0:19. Apparently, he's having trouble staying down! :-D

I wish there was a high-quality vid of this, with the end left in.

  • I love it when Little Jerry says "WATCH OUUUUUUUUUUUT!" It's silly.

  • writes the song and sings it himself. now thats the kind of man i like. mad props Chris Cerf

  • The guy with the afro looks like he's about to have a nervous breakdown.

  • From the looks of things Little Jerry seems like a complete jinx.

  • LMAO

  • Gotta love Rockin' Richards facial expression from 2:09 - 2:11.

  • That kills me. THAT is why I love the muppets.

  • He's the orange one, right? Yeah... something about him resembles Beaker in this one.

  • Yes,he's the orange one.

  • Some refer to him as the orange one, others refer to him as the guy dressed as a caveman.

  • mightyfilm: Odd, since Richard Hunt performed both of them.

    LJ&tM Band members:

    Little Jerry Nelson

    Rockin' Richard Hunt

    Big Jeffy Moss

    Chrissy Cerf

  • Lol, love it :P

  • Yeah, I saw that! Pretty silly!

Of course, Richard had those wide eyes throughout the whole video. That's what made him look silly.

  • Ha ha ha, Richard's face at 0:49!

  • LMAO the best. yes things were heapos more fun back then I used to ring up operators & sing that operator song to them & they kept listening Telecom had alot of freetime on their hands in those days.

  • lucky you. I tried it once after seeing telephone rock and they phoned my parents right back!

  • Yes I had already contemplated that even at 87 years old so I rang on a public phone booth which cost me nothing as it was telecom free call that was the only number i could call on a public phone with no money & all I could think of saying was singing the operator song. The things you do as a kid.

  • THAT was music!!!

And really good made with loads of action. Not as today with all that "political corectness"-shyte.

  • I might rabbit, I just might.

  • Thanks for bringing this back up!BTW,could you get the full version of Telephone Rock up here again?
