They Ain't got what right? times are changing Dill Weed. Has it ever occurred to you that they are simply reflecting many influences in their interperetations of the music and not merely just trying to replicate an Older and dated style? Open your heads people!

this style is called second line and this song isn't dixieland
the name of the group is la vella dixieland but they play swing, bebop, second line, blues and old jazz and dixieland.

New Orleans is my hometown! And this is what I grew up listening too. This has more Swing or Big Band influence than the Dixieland I remember which had somewhat of an edge to it...just don't make them like that anymore. Clarinet supposed to be leaping for the high nights, screaming like Voo Doo Spirits hauntin my city. I can still appreciate their efforts but THEY AIN GOT IT RIGHT!
