  • myspace is a good place to go for the big questions

  • The difference between somebody teaching atheism and somebody teaching about god is that the person bringing god to you is trying to help you to have an afterlife, where the preacher of atheist is trying to give you nothing except his personal opinion.

what offers you more hope in god and eternal life, or somebody saying "theres o god your crazy when you die you just rot" think about peoples intentions for once.

  • get to the point

    quit the runaround

  • "I am just here to have fun": Man you must be lonely! i am here because i got no other things to do!

  • You're HOTT!

  • buddhism IS a Religion, i am student in religion on the university in the netherlands. buddhists in india and china wil tell you so. we just do'nt call it al religion because religion has a stigma in our western culture.

  • i can't hear you now, i can't see you now, lalalalala lalala lalala

  • hey, lay off objectivists!

  • Could easily happen :)

  • Its a book. No actual evidence other than the words on a few pages, In a few hundred years someone will dig up a Harry potter...will the people take that as law?..well..the same applies to the bible. You want to believe so hard that you convince yourself.

  • And in the future they dig up a sign saying "Burger King" and they start pondering who this monarch was and what country he ruled over :D

  • Atheism is NOT a religion.

  • teodor1010 is so freakin right

  • trowna170... its called living and not believing in the the 3 bears and jack in the bean stalk

  • Hey What am i if i dont really have or think about religion at all in my life and just go on not including ANY of those things?

  • an atheist

  • Atheism is a religion right? you have to "believe" there is no God.

  • Why is it a religion just because you believe there is no God?

  • I believe my tv will come one when I hit power.

    You lose.

  • AHAHAH "Im here to have fun" You are a young, misguided and decieved man. You are here to obey God. The ones who are not with Jesus Christ are his enemy. Enjoy going to hell... here to have fun, wow. Immoral foolish young man, you probably get smashed, do drugs, bang girls (or guys? hahahaah) all night, lie, steal, etc...Seems like you need guidence. BTW God hates fags (to all u faggots out there)

  • wow... it doesn't sound to me like you are a Christian either... it's people like you who give followers of Jesus a bad name. God wants us to love one another no matter what. And just so you know, God doesn't hate ANYONE... I'm praying for you

  • My comment is for teodor1010

  • well God does not HATE you personally.. just youre SINS!!! ...sorry if i made myself unclear on the subject. :) ... ill pray for you too, sister :) When do you think the judgement is coming?

  • I guess you should be more careful. I know that God doesn't want you to tell anyone to "Enjoy going to hell" instead, we should simply show them the love of Christ and pray for them, not condemn them and in doing so push them futher away from coming to Jesus.

I don't know when judgement is coming, but it doesn't matter cause I have the forgiveness of Jesus and I'll just continue living each day in obedience to God. God Bless.

  • Well, one thing is for certain only God knows when it is coming, even Jesus, and the angels in heaven do not know the date. BUT, I believe His coming is in our generation :). The world is like a woman in labour, the closer to birth, the closer together the contractions and the more intense they become. Well in the last couple of years 40, maybe. We can see an increase in volcanic eruptions, storms, earth quakes, hurricanes, etc.. are all getting more intense, and more frequent.

  • Ok, Mr. Atheist, what is your idea of the afterlife?

  • Most atheists don't believe in an afterlife-- when you're dead, you're dead. Personally, this doesn't really bother me much because a) eternity seems like it would be really boring, and b) it makes living this life to the fullest that much more important.

  • I notice people are getting on your case about pronouncing "taoism" like it looks. I almost did. But I figured I wouldn't do so in a comment. No worries though, there are a million words that aren't pronounced how they look. Obviously. (I'm just adding to your numerous comments here.)

  • Taoist="Dowist" Beautiful philosophy..I guess it's like Atheism (no fat white bearded guy on cloud) but without all of the crazy belief system lables and genres that you use...maybe it is importaint to understand all those terms..but I do not. I'm very much into the eastern thought, my faith is constantly disgusted by the western worlds tendencies. Anyways, I dig what your doing, best of luck.

P.S. If Nitchze had known of Zen he may not have gone mad.

  • Tao rhymes with ow.

Good video. Buddhism is kind of cool. If only we could get past that whole pesky "burden of proof" thing.

  • you kinda look like Jamie Kennedy...

  • Im kind of confused about your last statement. I wikid objectivism - mind-independent reality; belief in contact with this reality through sensory perception; humans gain objective knowledge from perception by measurement, forming concepts that correspond to natural categories by measurement omission; that the proper moral purpose of one's life is the pursuit of one's own happiness or "rational self-interest" I am an atheist and I'm also an objectivist now by this definition. Am I pure evil?

  • There's a lot more to it than that. Also, I'm against the idea that the proper moral purpose is selfishness. Ayn Rand was a pseudo-intellectual and everything she wrote was in stark contrast to truly great atheistic philosphers, particularly Nietzsche.

  • Fuckin' A.

  • Also I said Republicans are evil, not (necessarily) Objectivists (which is capitalized, kind of like a religion). Most Objectivists vote Republican, however there is a large number that votes Libertarian-- these guys aren't as evil.

  • Cool video.

  • 2. You've definitely given the most honest answer to this one so far.

    3. LOL - another honest answer.

    4. I think you hit the nail on the head. This was the point of my question, because I see many atheists online trying to make political arguments from atheism, as though it has codified ethical and political system.

  • I didn't mean to offend you. I messaged many people who don't fit 100% my target audience, the examplar of that being Brettkeane. I'm not attempting to pigeonhole you. I just wanted people to respond to see different views.

Sorry if I touched a nerve. Not my intention in the least. And thanks for the response.

  • "I don't really know... and I don't really care"

    Bravo!!! LOL!!

  • Taoism is pronounced dow-ism. As in Dow Jones or dowry.

  • I've heard that before but sometimes I forget, I don't know any Taoists.

I've also seen it spelled with a D. So you are very correct, sir.

  • This is like the first time i´ve seen you do a video like this, this particular style...

    You rock. You´re Squarecircle.

  • My classification of Buddhism, Taoism, and Satanism is erroneous. However, my point remains the same.

  • as religions, I meant.

  • I think your latter conclusion is actually incorrect. Buddhism (and Taoism) is a religion. Though there are some who take philosophical principles from Buddhism and call themselves Buddhists who are not adherents of a religion. But traditional Buddhism is certainly a religion. They do believe in supernatural or even divine principles, and it is a formalized system.

  • Supernaturalism and codification aren't what make a religion; it's the belief in one or more gods, coupled with worship and reverence. After consulting MANY dictionary definitions and consulting multiple sources about the etymology of the word, this seems the most accurate description of "religion."

  • Well, look at it like this: those same dictionaries tend to define Buddhism as as relgion. Also, consider this: If the Dalai Lama is not the spiritual leader of a religion, then what is he? Coming up with a precise definition for religion is difficult, but looking at the practice of traditional Buddhism certain qualifies as something 'highly like and indistinguishable from, if not an actual relgion.'

Another interesting one: Would you say Scientology is a religion? If not - what is it?

  • A cult.
