I used to drive a 07 honda accord. Lets just say i will never drive another honda EVER again. thing was a piece of crap. i purchased a 05 malibu. and right away i noticed it had way more power, better control, and smooth ride. Im thinking about buying the 2010 malibu.
Yes. Chevrolet still offers the 3.6L DOHC V6 Variable Valve Timing SFI Engine on the 2LT and LTZ peg options. The engine has about 252 hp @ 6,300 rpm and the drive is very quiet inside of the vehicle.

Toyota Camry also gets 33 mpg highway if you go with the 6 speed manual transmission, and on top of that, it's a better car! I'm buying one next year!
correct they are but are you aware that the parts used to make them come from japan which is where they originally came from and whenever there is a purchase only 20% of that money stays in the US? the other 80% goes to japan so technically their still imports their names even give it away Toyota Honda sounds japanese to me
I'd like to know where you get your figures from, please provide some sources. Look at the components and final assembly point of a Toyota Camry and a Chevy Aveo and then get back to me. As for your 80%-20% profit argument, which is backed by nothing, you do realize that a large percentage of Honda & Toyota is US owned. Also when a "foreign" car marker opens a plant in the US, it employs people here and increases the tax base as well as the jobs and tax revenue that comes from the dealerships
Your right but also when you buy american most parts are made in mexico and china. The cars sometimes arent even built in the US anymore. I would hardly call those cars american either. The biggest mistake american automakers have made is allowing this to happen while their competitors build plants on home turf.
I have a Chevy with 100,000 miles and it still runs great. It's been good to me. I know the foreign cars are sometimes made better, but I think we should be investing our money into our own economy.
oh and did "they" ever hear the GM went bankrupt and Chrysler and took literally BILLIONS of OUR TAX dollars, and then said oh were bankrupt-and do you know what happens when your bankrupt? basically GM and Chrysler took our money and laughed in our faces. so fuck all of you who still love chevy, chrysler. im only buying foreign now. listen to DERXIA, he knows. fuck you lilgman! what does that stand for lil gay man?
Now if GM would just actually use my tax dollars I unwillingly gave them to R&D instead of running these silly ads, maybe they'd get somewhere by now.
I'm not what one would consider a "they" person, as I look on while this obnoxious ad plays.. I'm an "I" person who drives an ODYSSEY of which I love. I say it's far better then a..... um......wait.
They are wasting our school years with languages that we can't improve. Don't just go to work for the pay from giants. Find ways to build better vehicles and lives can also be saved. Just break their draw lines policies for technologies for the future of mankind. Bless you all.
Return the technology to people, we would have products that no one can beat us. People of China is supporting us. As long as we keep these technologies open, no governments shielding those giant lazy elites, people are the best and economic innovators. Defense secretes are nonsense when people of China and US are talking and communicating. In the market are outdated technologies built for the pockets of lazy elites in most countries. Giants love us living in manipulated history.
they said who last longer .. they said your full of shit and the your chevy will die in ten years ... they said there honda civc 1988 is still running better than your 2009 chevy
Are you one of the THEY people because the Malibu is rated Higher in reliability than accord and Camry. I checked look at and customer review Camry or accord NEVER beats the Malibu
Camry and accord are 2 of the best selling cars in the USA....Gm will never,NEVER have the reliability that the imports have..Camry and Accord ALWAYS beats the "malibu". The malibu sucks...Enough said....The proof is in the sales numbers....Imports=better resale value and more reliable.....TRUTH...Quit whining because you own one of these pieces of shit and go get an import.
I wouldn't necessarily consider them imports since they are made here in the US. However you are correct. They just recently came out with another commercial with this shithead. And he says in the end "after all, its a chevy" Ho ho ho! laugh it up asshole! You can't represent the bowtie as a quality named product with decades of good reputation and reliability. Only Toyota and Honda bears the right to say those words.
Guess again asshole! Malibu has barely been out for more than a year. Look at last gen's Malibu compared to the 2003.-2007 accord. Notice which ones a piece of shit and which ones not?
No fucking contest. Accord > Malibu
Hell i even own a 1999 accord with 138k miles and the damn thing is still kicking it like brand spanking new. I don't see any piece of shit Malibus from that era still on the road with that many (at least past 155k) miles and that type of similar quality interior.
I still have my 98 cavalier with 170k and still run find so whats your point. It sound like you are trying to say only imports can get 140k+. This shows you know nothing about cars, BTW the Malibu form that era was motortrend car of the year and yes I see them everywhere I go.
I know nothing about cars? Well that's a shitty statement. 170k barely cuts. My last civic had 168k until it got hit by some moron that ran the stop sign, It would of easily surpassed that had it not been hit.. Try reaching over that. Which is what we've done with out 92 accord. Hell There is a guy on youtube who clocked in 500k miles on his STOCK. Malibu only made it 2008 MT car of the year because they actually tried on this one. However it hasn't been on the road as long as others.
Malibu made N american car of the year, MT car of the year was the CTS. It was the 92 Malibu that did. And yes you know little about cars because you think 138k is an achievement for a car. most cars can go hundreds of thousand of miles if you take car of them.
There is no 92 Malibu. I searched and couldn't find it (except taillight problems on something). Either it has been re badged as something else or it simply doesn't exist. Last statement you said is obvious. Which might explain how you clocked that many miles. But in the real world, most people don't know shit about their cars. So to that they would most likely treat it like shit.
well it's the 97, the same one you call a POS, of course you got to talk care of your car if you can't do that then you don't need one. I drive only my Malibu and not my old cavalier so it can keep going if i drive it. it only had two problems that is not regular maintenance cooling fan and motor mount less than $100 when I bought it used a 68k in 2000
Malibu is slower, under-powered and has smaller interior than Accord. Lets not even compare the resale value of a product made by bankrupt, government owned company. If you are going to buy a Malibu, please don't keep it past Obama's whitehouse years as GM won;t be around to honur the warranty.
this commercial proves no point in comparison. Comparing it to camry and accord. They all basically get the same damn thing in terms of fuel economy. But the accord is a far more rugged product that will last over the years with better resale.
The new Chevy Malibu has a handsome interior. Smooth blue lighting and clean interior design. Luxurious also. It is good to see new model cars providing luxury. The future will be great.

Honda and Toyota now has factories in USA, where thousands of Americans work.
GM's new designs are taken from Opel motors (Europe) and Holden motors (Australia). GM, Ford makes parts in South America.
So, you tell me, how is it that we will be investing 100% in American economy by purchasing GM car?
Compare Malibu with Accord on Yahoo, you will see which one has higher cost of ownership.

This commercial is totally dumb (kind of GM mentality of what they believe)
- Honda is more of an engine company
- Saturn Vue (GM product) has been using Honda engine (google it)
- Honda and Toyota do not have that cheap hard plastic interior
- over time honda or toyota WILL have a higher value as compared to any GM
- May be GM and Ford now has better cars, but they are simply playing "catch up"
- Ford and GM hybrids are NOW using Prius technology
So, quit this BS, public is not dumb.
