I used to drive a 07 honda accord. Lets just say i will never drive another honda EVER again. thing was a piece of crap. i purchased a 05 malibu. and right away i noticed it had way more power, better control, and smooth ride. Im thinking about buying the 2010 malibu.

correct they are but are you aware that the parts used to make them come from japan which is where they originally came from and whenever there is a purchase only 20% of that money stays in the US? the other 80% goes to japan so technically their still imports their names even give it away Toyota Honda sounds japanese to me

As for your 80%-20% profit argument, which is backed by nothing, you do realize that a large percentage of Honda & Toyota is US owned. Also when a "foreign" car marker opens a plant in the US, it employs people here and increases the tax base as well as the jobs and tax revenue that comes from the dealerships

- Saturn Vue (GM product) has been using Honda engine (google it)

I wouldn't necessarily consider them imports since they are made here in the US. However you are correct. They just recently came out with another commercial with this shithead. Malibu only made it 2008 MT car of the year because they actually tried on this one. However it hasn't been on the road as long as others.

I drive only my Malibu and not my old cavalier so it can keep going if i drive it. it only had two problems that is not regular maintenance cooling fan and motor mount less than $100 when I bought it used a 68k in 2000

this commercial proves no point in comparison. Comparing it to camry and accord. They all basically get the same damn thing in terms of fuel economy. But the accord is a far more rugged product that will last over the years with better resale.

The new Chevy Malibu has a handsome interior. Smooth blue lighting and clean interior design. Luxurious also. It is good to see new model cars providing luxury. The future will be great.
