  • grt shot...!!!

  • either half of the triangular tail of a whale.

  • Ive been playing snooker every saturday for 3 hours for about 10 weeks now, I regulary pull of doubles/triples similar to that, not to that kind of perfection though! yet my highest break is only 17! 3 reds and 2 blacks! them kind of shots are more about measurements than actual snooker skills IMO anyways. im still struggling with spin and stuff if anyone as tips though.

  • @Matman050988 Iv'e played for 16 years,my high break in a match scenario is 91.

1 thing lots of players do when using backspin is to raise the butt of their cue, this results in a digging action which causes the cue ball to jump and skid before making contact with your intended ball then when contact is made the cue ball only comes back slightly. To avoid this lower/flatten your bridging hand, remember not to dig keep your cue as straight/paralel to the table as possible.

  • @Matman050988 Also as great as Ronnie is the treble he plays is only a 50/50 shot for even him, im sure your aware no matter how much you practice doubles etc luck is always involved lol.1 method i use in practice is the colours only, put the cue ball to start with where you want and try to clear them all. This will force you to use/improve cueball control,it might take you a while to clear them all but keep trying.Playing pool on a snooker table can also help & control your power

  • I regularly pull off shots like that IRL, then I miss an easy one!! thats why my high break is only 31 lol

  • @madmonkey0

    sure you do.

  • lol i did even better shots on pc games

  • @kookoon Anyone can do a good shot on PC, play it in real life.

  • @kookoon

the real Snooker is way more difficult than any PC-Game!!

  • @kookoon

your a complete retard if you think its as easy as on the pc

  • WOIW WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOOWWOOWOWOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOOWOWWOWOW

  • what a flukey ****

  • he went for the cross double not the treble

  • @coolcool137 cant happen - i dont have a closet and it isnt humanly possible to have glowing red eyes.

  • @coolcool137 2 kinds of ppl post these. People who like to scare ppl, or ppl who've read the comment before and been scared shitless. I'm guessing you got scared shitless and posted this to 100 vids LOL

  • @coolcool137 How's she gonna come to my house if she's dead? You gonna drive her here? Cuz I live in Sweden and you live in the US.

  • @Enleuk HEY HEY JUST CUZ SHES DEAD DOESNT MEAN SHE CANT FLY!!

  • @coolcool137 Ah yes, of course. Dead people don't decay, instead they grow wings.

  • @coolcool137 if she was able to fly she would have to be an angel but angels dont have red eyes

  • @coolcool137 if she was able to fly she would have to be an angel but angels dont have red eyes

  • @8BombaMann8 how do you know???

  • Fuckin hell even I can do that like 60% of the time. He's 68 ahead with 43 remaining. Obviously could be a little liberal with risky shots. He intended one of the middle pockets but the man can't do that shot confidently under closer circumstances.

  • @02sansus i agree. It happens a lot of times when one tries these 'double' shots.

  • easy shot

  • @ILoveMelbourneCity id like to see u do better(SARCASM)

  • @ILoveMelbourneCity piss off, its a triple spider. i bet you couldnt do that even without the pressure of world championship.

  • fluke shot

  • Ronnie is simply a genius talent be it snooker or pool ... Nuf said.

  • Down with Antifanboy1

  • @AntiFanBoy1 u serious?

  • gr8 shot

  • @AntiFanBoy1 its not a fluke he could'nt have doubled it without hitting the pink co the red and pink were too close together.

  • @AntiFanBoy1 its not a fluke he could have doubled it without hitting the pink co the red and pink were too close together.

  • lol im not liking cause of 147

  • haha 147 likes for this video :)

  • he s simply an awesome player but here i guess he tried for double..

  • I thought that was a fluke until i saw pink.

  • FUCK YOU ANTIFANBOY1 , I REALLY HATE YOU ... MOTHERFUCKER

  • he is one of the best players ever..... but...... i really think he meant for the double there.

  • @AntiFanBoy1 ...thats what i thought, he went for the double n got the flukey treble instead...

  • Not only the red, but it looks to me like he's trying to develop the brown and/or the last red on the pink shot too...

  • Why do you all give AntiFanBoy the attention he so desperately craves?

He's obviously a tosser on a wind-up,just ignore the cunt.

Every Snooker fan knows that it's an indisputable fact that Ronnie is the greatest player ever,so there's really no need to argue with somebody who claims he isn't.

  • @AntiFanBoy1 HAHAHAHA you creepy little stalker get of his dick!!

  • @AntiFanBoy1 shut up jackal boy

  • you can tell this was a calculated shot because the commentator didn't get really excited about it. Midly impressed that he took the shot on but nothing extraordinary.

  • @AntiFanBoy1 calm down jackal boy

  • Anything is possible if Ronnie is playing ... its a calculated shot ... definitely not a fluke :)

  • @AntiFanBoy1 in case if you dont know what a Jackal is ffs, read this --- > Jackalpedia, the free encyclopedia for AntiFanBoy1 ... Gays Jackals - Chapter 2 verse 15 And the Lord said : A Jackal is a member of any of three small to medium-sized species of the genus Canis, found in Africa, America, and southeastern Europe. Jackals fill a similar ecological niche to the coyote (sometimes called the American jackal AND of course refered as AntiFanBoy1 on Youtube) im done with you.

  • @AntiFanBoy1 haha, after watching your channel.. i can see where your coming from. The whole Ronnie O' Sullivan suck thing and the so called AntiFanboy Youtube gimmick. surrounding your own fucking world. What cheap things people do to become famous on Youtube really amazes me. Is there a point still responding to you? i dont think so, goodluck taking down a pro snooker player. But i still strongly feel that your a born of a jackal. guaranteed. And no, you wont become famous.

  • @AntiFanBoy1 @AntiFanBoy1 go fuck yourself, who you call a half brain you born of a jackal. ignorance my ass, whats with that "whatever you say" thing, your a teenage drama queen now? sick of this shit with bitches like you. put a 8 ball up your ass! see if that shuts you up. i'm saying its not a fluke , just what on the fuck your gonna do now? keep whining... AntifanFuckmyAssboy1, your comments are mostly PATHETIC n even flagged as spam. That says it all, Emo Wannabe lol.

  • cheak out my home snooker videos

  • Its not a fluke you dummies. Its practiced and this is Ronnie, he knows whats he doing. he probably can make 7 out of 10 shots like that any given day .. but obviously not on a televised professional events cause theres so much money at stake. But if you have to, like this case.. then you go for it. He did it marvelously.

  • i dont think the title is what the dude meant. i mean he meant that shot is amazing, not that the shot is a snooker (or safety, for pool players).

  • He must have done that on purpose, because it wouldn't have been a snooker either. Obviously he has trained shots like this and was sure enough to succeed.

  • he tries for the double....but it goes tripple...:-)

  • shut up mystery loser your a pleb see how any triples you can bust out

  • that was no fluke

  • @MrGerrardSteven

Ride on! IT wasn't a fluke. Ronnie is a class player and something like that would be easy for him if he was in the right mood.

  • great shot !

  • it was a fluke lol, how is this amazing?

  • chuck norris does this just by looking at the table

  • @uberhax0r1 LOL!

  • Believe it or not, thats really easy to do... You just have to judge it correctly :/

  • the commentator did not get anywhere near excited enoguh, if i saw that i would be doing a virgo and going that is absolutley unbelieveable

  • its fluke, it wasnt supposed to get in left pocket, so theres nothing so amazing about it

  • Comment removed

  • Welsh Opens are nothing, hence he didn't give a shit and neither did ronnie which is why he took that shot in the first place.

  • @snake172 no he took the shot because he already had the frame won smartass

  • uum no, he could have cleared which would have made murphy look like an ass considering they were 3,3 and they tend to do that in the masters etc, like i said before....he didn't give a shit.

  • lol he played a cannon and missed the red on the cush lolol it was impossible to pot,he couldn't even make a century ffs and how would Ronnie clearing up make Murphy look like an as LOLOL think about what your saying, just another ronnie hater methinks

  • Anonomousxxx ( >> did he really get the treble??? lol you fuckin idiot its there on the video you dumbass

  • mate look at the angle on the pink, because it was so close to that red theres no way he could have cut it thick enough to make the double, he went for the triple

  • the double was impossible there

he went for the triple and got it great shot

  • Actually now that I'm looking at it again he probably did intend the treble. The pink was hampering the double, so only the treble was on. He's a professional player so I'm sure he realised the double wasn't on.

  • Antifanny, no. Ronnie had already won the frame by this point, you've all seen it before, someone showing off at the end when they'd already won. another thing, even though he'd already won (and it wouldn't matter where the cue ball ended up) surely someone as experienced and professional as he wouldn't just leave the cue ball in the middle of the table after such a bad safety? i know that's beside the point, but at least i've made my mine.

    one nil, Antifanny

  • He played the double, not the triple, but it didn't matter anyway as he had already won the frame.

  • the reason ppls say this was a fluke because they dont play snooker professionally, and thats why they dun believe this kind of shot is possible for players like ronnie.. cheers...

  • Why would he intentionally play the treble, to cannon off the green? He was obviously going for the double, but he hit it with enough pace so that if he missed then the trebble was still on.

  • mate fuck off everyone is disagreeing with you so your the one with no clue about snooker you jackass go link your sources right you tosser

  • good player

  • your a fuckin idiot this is ronnie o sullivan he was 100% going for that shot

  • how the fuck was that a fluke

  • obviously wasnt a fluke you absolute reject

  • shut up you thick cunt

  • it should be noted that Hendry has said himself Ronnie is the greatest raw talent to ever play the game. But unfortunately he is not the greatest player, simply because he may have the talent, but hasn't the right personality. He is too unreliable, and he fully admits that himself. But as pure natural talent goes, no one touches Ronnie.

  • Comon now, Hendry is a great player, so too is Ronnie. Anyway, I think you and Mr Empirical ahould make up and catch up for a beer to discuss snooker!!!

  • Say what you want about their head to head record, Hendry didn't get the nickname "King of the Crucible" by accident

  • LOL, when you resort to insults, you know you've lost the argument. Hahahaha, I win, you lose.

  • By discussing their head-to-head records, you compared Stephen Hendry with Ronnie O'Sullivan. Well done; you just proved my point that they can be compared. How does it feel to fail so epically?

  • LOL I gave three reasons why Stephen and Ronnie can be compared. You have not provided any comebacks to any of my reasons. Therefore, you fail. Epically.

  • nice pot :o altough lucky

  • Ronnie may not have been expecting to pot it, but theres always a chance it would go in,

  • amazing

  • wohoo ,roflaids is closed !:D

  • very true

  • Oh for fuck's sake the double wasn't even an option, so he played the entertaining treble. Not high percentage, but with the frame already won, why wouldn't ya? NOT a fluke.

  • wrong

  • It's possible.....but I really doubt it.

  • i did this before, but only once in a while...lol. he did it in one shot, bang bang its in..

  • sen nasıl birisin yaaaa....çokkiiiii yaaaa...rocket sullivan...

  • Perry Mans once played a similar shot whilst having a poo...and it was a seven inch stool...beat that Ronnie.

  • idiot

  • fluke :)

  • never a fluke, you double obvious didnt go so there was only 1 option. a treble

  • If Ronnie can make that 9 times out of 10, it will not be a fluke.

  • it wasnt a fluke, just a treble

  • correct simomax147. ronnie would no if itwas on or not, and im 100% he played that.

  • the crowd's reaction...

Oooh... Ohaa.. OOOOHHH!!!!!! like they're getting an orgasm..

  • fluke:P

  • That was a fluke :-)

  • Nice Shot :)

  • i think that he might have wanted to get it into the other middle-pocket but still a great shot

  • THATS NO FLUKE

  • FLUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this was his intention,...lol

  • thats a fucking fluke

  • It isn't problem, he is Ronnie. :)

  • very good, shame he missed the cannon on the red to bring it off the cushion though

  • i did dat once... bah it waz jus luck =P i jus wanted 2 hot d ball =P

  • he played it exactly like that. pace confirms this :)

  • Fluke. all the ronnie fucking gayjewish fanboys can fuck off saying this is not a fluke.

  • I was there! Thanks for posting =D

    -k9!

  • i saw this shot many times and i think its not a fluke

  • i think it is a fluke but i am not sure

  • He is the best of the world, but he had a lot of lucky too, he did't want do that in two times...

  • yeah your right, Ronnie is 3 times world champion, Steven Hendry is 7

  • But Hendry is 40-year-old, and Ronnie is only 32.

  • Hendry won his 7th title when he was 30

Ronnie is more than 30 and he have win 3 world titles. At Ronnie's age Hendry have won much more titles than Ronnie. Now he is 39 and he is declining a little but Ronnie also will decline around this age. The age means nothing.

  • Ronnie will eclipse Stephens record, for sure.

You cannot realey compare stephen and ronnies record as they are in two differnt eras. There is no doubt at all that the snooker produced today is miles better than in the 90's, as many players can win tournmanets wheras only a handful could then.

If ronnie does eclipse stephens record, it would be such an achivement by doing it in the modern era.

  • You're so right. The standards have changed. Even if Ronnie was to 'only' get two more WC titles it would be a massive achievement.

  • exactly...im tired of those comments comparing ronnie and hendry in the number of won titles...its not math where 40>20, so hendry is better player...hendry was a potting and winning machine back in 90´s but ronnie´s style is not just effective, but also very entertainging to watch - thx to him, snooker found new fans and started to be globally watched (yes there are some players deserving some credit for popularizing the snooker also, but ronnie is a phenomen)

  • and i'm tired of those fuckking ronnie fans

  • And im tirde of those fuckin Ronnie Haters ;o)

  • fuck off

    you're a cunt !!!

  • Fuck you fukin fuck, you fuckin fucker! *LOL* You stupid asshole, dumbass, motherfucker! Go and suck someones dick, you crybaby.

  • I do, what i want to do, i say, what i want to say, and i like, what i want to like. And NOONE gave me orders or say such ridiculous things to me. You are an jealous snooker player, aren't you? Herr, schmeiß Hirn vom Himmel! Schnell, viel und gezielt!

  • You are a jealous Snooker player, aren't you? Or you are Ronnie O' on drugs *LOL* That are the only possibilities i see...

Herr, schmeiß Hirn vom Himmel! Schnell, viel und gezielt!!!

  • i'm not a player

i just think ronnie is an idiot and he should be banned of snooker because of some attitudes

  • i'm not a youtube admin,

but i thing you should be banned from youtube because of your attitude.

  • Why do you think, Ronnie is an idiot an should be banned?

  • look at all the shit he did

  • so? dont watch him you loser.

  • He has brought snooker to a new level. Most of my friends that don't know much about snooker just know Ronnie O'Sullivan first and then get interested in watching. Without O'Sullivan snooker would be in a world of trouble.

  • lol john, i very much doubt that!! and this is no fluke, he played a treble!! he could obviously see the double didnt go

  • I never said this was a fluke.

  • I hear this opinion a lot and I both agree and disagree. I agree that a comparison is futile and I think the standard is improving but one of the reasons only a "handful" could win in the 90's was that it was a period dominated by one of the best in the history of the game. People seem to quickly forget just how good Stephen was in his prime and it was only a decade ago. He really did take the game to the next level. I'm a Jimmy White fanboy too, b4 anyone says anything ;O)

  • Of course you can compare Stephen and Ronnie. For starters, they have played each other numerous times. A past-his-prime Stephen was able to beat Ronnie more than once. And Stephen has won tournaments in which Ronnie was a competitor. So obviously Stephen is up to the same standard as Ronnie, when you consider that Stephen is relatively old.

  • ronnie has played against tougher players than hendry

  • which tougher players?

  • in their prime, selb, dott, white, williams, murphy, doherty, stevens...

  • and stephen hendry ended steve davis's dominace when he arrived on the scene otherwise steve davis would have carried on winning trophy after trophy

  • steve davis is still a good player with chances of winning major tournaments if given the opportunity. i saw him when he did an exhibition at 75th anniversary of romford snooker club the other week and he played brilliantly

  • nah, he was almost past it by then. players like mcmanus and white would have won most.

  • That wasnt a fluke. That was the sheer genius that is Ronnie O'Sullivan. That was an awsome shot and anyone who thinks it was a fluke has obviously never watched Ronnie play before and he does like to to his bit of entertaining and 'doing his bit for the game' Love Ronnie!!! =) x-x-x

  • not fluke...but the red didnt go exactly the way ronnie wanted it to go...lucky it ended up in the opposite middle pocket - ronnie is amazing, but stop making god out of him

  • he got lucky but it wasnt a fluke

  • if you get what i mean. its not contradicting. he played the triple. he meant it so it wasnt a fluke. he did try the shot but if he tried it again he prob wont get it. so he got pretty lucky.

but what a genius of a player

  • the straight double wasnt on couldnt get the angle from where the red was behind the pink ,and its ronnie osullivan so whatever he does on a snooker table dont supprise anyone he is a genius

  • No player ever goes for a treble - it's not a recognised snooker shot. It looks like a double badly miscalulated but it's Ronnie so we'll forgive him!

  • why not? he had the frame save.

  • It is but it isnt... he most probably wanted it to double and knew if he was to miss it was likley the tripled would occur.

  • thats not a fluke..... Its a triple shot...

Pro's take that shot like a piece of cake....

They read the board inch by inch

  • That's fluke

  • I think that Ronnie wants the ball to go in the middle pocket but he was lucky. Don't think it was a fluke ;)

  • I think, it isn't fluke, but Ronnie was lucky a bit... :)

  • i agree

  • incredible triple ;)
