i just realized how much easier this game is on console. Bow aiming is easier in my opinion, the cursor moves at the speed an object can, so you dont drop it, and the fact that you can set up coop much easier. But hey, if you got a computer that can handle this, right on.
and this game IS only good with coop, because the characters are controlled separately, vs being one guy who morphs into one of the 2 characters. Kinda like Hexen II, where single player kinda is boring, but when you play coop, it becomes fun.
a lot of people say this game is like the lost vikings, and in a way it is, but when I was thinking about lost vikings in comparison to this game, it really isn't comparable, seeing how the puzzles are much easier, because you morph into that character, instead of the characters splitting up and doing their separate tasks, as shown in the lost vikings.
Just to everyone, this game is great and there i patch 1.02 that allows to play this game with 2 keyboard and 2 mouses. If u have them gameplay is just great.....
you can play this game better on ps3. move the cube arround with the right stick and rotate it with the left stick. -> perfect control of the objects, they dont spin uncontrolledly...
can someone help me..i play with my bro...i play with keyboard and mouse and he with the xbox360 controler...the problem is that he cant aim with the joystick...does anyone know what is the problem???
actully you can play on 3 keyboads and mouses or 2kebroads and a joypad or what not, Me i play a keybroad my 2m ates us there 360 pads XD , just so much fun but online co-op would equal awsome in a glass...
i'm trying to play this game with a friend, but the 2nd player can't aim and use some bottons (knight can't defend, thief can't use bow, mage is useless:p) Is there a way to fix it?
i got it to work when u launch trine go to advanced and enable multiple keyboards then when you get to the menu go to options then conroller configuration and click on 2nd player

That's because knight is worst at getting past different objects, but have good offence. A mage + thief combo would be lot faster.

this combo is impossible, cuz u just have one person being able to use the "aim-cross" to shoot / using magic, the other one couldn't aim for objects.
The knight's the only one, who doesn't need a mouse to use his skills.

you need a plug the joypad, then go to options in game and choose the joypad for the other player
