Cat diagnosed with feline leukemia had been confined to the laundry room, barely able to eat or drink or get to his litter box. Within 10 days of taking Transfer Factor Plus(am and pm, 3-4 a day),he was able to get up and walk. After 3 weeks, he was meowing at the door wanting to be outside.Now its been about 1.5 months and he's well.Transfer Factor Plus continued to be given at 1-2 a day as a preventative. Non-toxic.Holistic vets use it to cure feline leukemia. Don't need a vet 2 get it.

Love transcends all things, including death. I have no doubt that all those we have Loved in this life will be reunited with us again, when our time comes. Not just our Moms and Dads, but our purring four legged friends as well, will be right there to greet us. Love them, miss them, but know you will see them again. My cats have all died naturally at home. i would not consider having them "put to sleep" unless they are really in absolute agony, and who knows if they are? if a human has cancer they dont get put to sleep at a whim! so never understood why humans can asume putting an animal to sleep is justified, sorry for your loss!
@fadwa1979 - It is not natural for feline prides to even feed an injured member? No, they let them die, and sometimes even kick them out if they're injured. Soooooo, that's nature for ya. Here are three ways to die, the first being the easiest:
1. put to sleep.
2. left alone to die - can't walk to the cat chow? Tough luck!
3. Have somebody place soft food in front of me (or an IV), and let me die a long slow painful death.

So sorry, I just put down today a stray cat I hoped to adopt + bring inside. He'd been visiting for a few months, an older intact male, friendly, skinny, matted...we fed him but couldn't bring him into our home with our cats. He was a good guy and deserved a chance but life on the streets in winter is tough and he would probably infect others.. I regret not having him tested as soon as he came around, but he'd disappear for weeks at a time because maybe he was OK then. Farewell "Scrappy Cat".

Tab is going to the vet tomorrow. I checked on him tonight and he iwas laboring hard to breath, so I don't have any hope for him. He was the biggest most beautiful tough old tabby tom cat with big fat cheeks. He was such a character, and I will miss him. I am sure he will not be here this fall. I kept them isolated and they lived almost two years, Gizmo and Rhoda. Gizmo was the oddest sick little kitten, but turned into the most beautiful cat I ever owned. I have a cat now named Tab. I rescued him & had him tested & was neg. He later turned positive. I have had him for 4 years, kept him isolated and this week he started loosing ground.
I remember the day I came in from school and my mam told me that my kittten had been in an accident and that she wasnt coming back...And then the next day my great-grandmother died...That was the worst week of my life :( RIP Guinness, Lil Granny and LoverBoy Xxx
It's so hard to lose a loved one. The only comfort is knowing that there is a kitty heaven and we will be with them again. I know LoverBoy is on the other side playing with other kitties and missing her human family on earth but, it's only for awhile. Thank God.
I lost a cat once, several years ago...it tore me apart, I was with her when they had to put her down (complications during pregnancy 10 yrs ago) and still cry about it to this day when I remember my life with her in it. Looks like your LoverBoy had a life full of love and fun with you.....Keep that in your heart and be thankful for the time that you had with him! I am sorry about LoverBoy! When I was about 15, my Frisky died back in the mid 1970s from leukemia. My MrCat died in 2007 of cancer, ....so I know how hard it is to go through that. LoverBoy had a nice home and will always live in your heart and memories, ....just like my Frisky and MrCat still live in mine. 5* Thanks for posting this.
So sorry to hear about your loss. My cat Solee also has FeLV but for now has minimal symptoms. Only thing I notice is that alternate eyes will dilate from time to time. Very strange looking. I'm hoping she'll never manifest deadlier symptoms, so wish me luck.

My lovely Woolly-chan died a few minutes into the new year, of FIV/FeLV. He was a hard stray cat who suddenly changed, became my friend, & trusted me. I fosteredd 3 feral kittens, 4th was too wild, but she got PG. trapped her, brought her in, she had 5 kittens, all of them died of this Feline Leukemia, then a year later she did, now 1 of her brothers has died with it, the 2nd is having symptoms, and it also infected my elderly cats. It is horrable sad for you, I do know.
it really hurts to lose a cat that's close to you, yeah, they're not human, but the companionship and the quirky relationship is no less real than that with another human being, I lost a cat that grew up with me when I was little, then another after that due to someone on our street's animal cruelty, then a sick kitten died a few days after my parents took it in, I think I'm going to go find my cat and hug it later
I've been living with cats since I was a little girl. And if I never lost any of my cats or kittens I would have over 100 cats. But it still hurt me to see them dying under my hands although I went through this experience so much time.
There IS NO cure for feline leukemia. Only a vaccination that only lessens the chance of contracting the disease. Nothing is 100%. Nice language by the way...
Loverboy crossed Rainbow Bridge - and you will be together again one day. My heart and prayers are with you - I have been there and lost several pets due to FIP and also fostering sick kittens/cats who didn't survive. Thank you for sharing part of Loverboy's life with us..
Cats are the coolest people I know. My last cat lived to be exactly twenty years old. She would have lived longer but she was accidently poisoned with flea shampoo. If you love your cat or dog or any pet, take them to a professional groomer if they have fleas. Please don't do it yourself. You might get lucky and nothing happens but if they do have a reaction to pesticides its always severe, and is often fatal.
Last night My cat was unexpectedly put down. I brought her in because I saw she was breathing heavily. It turned out 85% of her chest was filled with fluid, her liver was going, and her white blood cell count was through the roof. It's so sad that she was only 2.

I lost my hamster recently and that was awful. I can imagine losing my kitty would be 100 times worse. Just thinking about how much I love my cat makes me feel your pain on a very deep level. But like some people below me have said, at least it's a little comforting knowing that Loverboy isn't suffering anymore.

I favorited this video because your cat was so cute and beautiful. I have a cat that looks similar to yours, her name is Miracles. I named her that because I found her in my building back in 2003 (some idiot threw her out) so I took her in. She must have been 3 years old back then, and now she's 8. But its so sad what happened to your cat. I've been taking my cat to the vet every year since I took her into my home.
I have had several cats that died from FLV over my lifetime. Vaccination is not always perfect as three of the cats came from parents with a complete history of vaccinations against FLV and I made sure they were after I got them. Do not feel bad about not vaccinating him and think only of the joy he brought into your life. I remember the joy more than the pain and it's clear Loverboy brought you much joy. Thank you so very much for sharing him with us...he was very beautiful.

I feel for you--we had Snowflake for 2 short years before she died of FeLV--I was completely devastated! But I have her to thank for all the other wonderful kitties I have now, because I joined an Animal Rescue group after she died & have adopted a family of cats I've cared for over the years! By the way, the youngest of them is named MOE!!

Awww :( it's always sad when you hear of the loss of a beloved pet. Especially to leukemia, my brother had a kitten named Danielle that succumbed to the disease too, was so sad to say the least. Know that LoverBoy is watching over you now and you'll see him again in heaven.

So sorry, I just put down today a stray cat I hoped to adopt + bring inside. He'd been visiting for a few months, an older intact male, friendly, skinny, matted...we fed him but couldn't bring him into our home with our cats. He was a good guy and deserved a chance but life on the streets in winter is tough and he would probably infect others.. I regret not having him tested as soon as he came around, but he'd disappear for weeks at a time because maybe he was OK then. Farewell "Scrappy Cat".

was the right thing to do...she was suffering so bad...i took joy in knowing tht the best time of her life was when she met us...i have a feeling tht it was the first time she ever knew what it felt to be loved and the only time she got to love someone...she was such a good cat idk how someone could abandon her if tht is what happened...but she opened my eyes to cat love and now we have a beautiful tabby named tigger :)

on a friday and it was a holiday so no vet was open till tuesday...so i had to try to care for her till then...it broke my heart cause she would just wonder constantly and i could tell she was terrified unless she heard my voice and made it to me...she was going down quickly, could barely walk and eat...finally made it to tues. and the vet said she either had felv or hiv and either way she was to far gone to do anything for her so whe had to put her down...i broke my heart but i know it

Tab is going to the vet tomorrow. I checked on him tonight and he iwas laboring hard to breath, so I don't have any hope for him. He was the biggest most beautiful tough old tabby tom cat with big fat cheeks. He was such a character, and I will miss him. I am sure he will not be here this fall. He did have some enjoyable days and always liked being outdoors. The featured cat on my YouTube channel is Big Tab. He was happy that day upside down in the birdbath when I took that picture

I am sorry for your loss and your are a very kind and thoughtful person. I rescued to sickly kittens, a sister & brother that had leukemia. I kept them isolated and they lived almost two years, Gizmo and Rhoda. Gizmo was the oddest sick little kitten, but turned into the most beautiful cat I ever owned. I have a cat now named Tab. I rescued him & had him tested & was neg. He later turned positive. I have had him for 4 years, kept him isolated and this week he started loosing ground.

It's so hard to lose a loved one. The only comfort is knowing that there is a kitty heaven and we will be with them again. I know LoverBoy is on the other side playing with other kitties and missing her human family on earth but, it's only for awhile. Thank God.

I lost a cat once, several years ago...it tore me apart, I was with her when they had to put her down (complications during pregnancy 10 yrs ago) and still cry about it to this day when I remember my life with her in it. Looks like your LoverBoy had a life full of love and fun with you.....Keep that in your heart and be thankful for the time that you had with him! My heart is with you as I understand the impact of the loss....He was a beautiful little boy :)

I have an 18 month old Himmie that when taken to the vet for the 1st time, he was FelV positive. He shows no sign of the illness and runs around like the Tazmanian Devil. We had been offered to have the cat placed but would never do. Family is family.

I am sorry about LoverBoy! When I was about 15, my Frisky died back in the mid 1970s from leukemia. My MrCat died in 2007 of cancer, ....so I know how hard it is to go through that. LoverBoy had a nice home and will always live in your heart and memories, ....just like my Frisky and MrCat still live in mine. 5* Thanks for posting this.

So sorry to hear about your loss. My cat Solee also has FeLV but for now has minimal symptoms. Only thing I notice is that alternate eyes will dilate from time to time. Very strange looking. I'm hoping she'll never manifest deadlier symptoms, so wish me luck.

My lovely Woolly-chan died a few minutes into the new year, of FIV/FeLV. He was a hard stray cat who suddenly changed, became my friend, & trusted me. Obviously, he came to me with the viruses, but just a few short weeks ago, they manifested, and despite vet visits, he died way too fast. I am completely empty, and just want to say that someone out there has to come up with something real for this killer. (Yes, I know about Imulan). Rest in Peace my lovely Woolly-chan. I love you forever xxx

I truley do know your pain. I fosteredd 3 feral kittens, 4th was too wild, but she got PG. trapped her, brought her in, she had 5 kittens, all of them died of this Feline Leukemia, then a year later she did, now 1 of her brothers has died with it, the 2nd is having symptoms, and it also infected my elderly cats. It is horrable sad for you, I do know.

it really hurts to lose a cat that's close to you, yeah, they're not human, but the companionship and the quirky relationship is no less real than that with another human being, I lost a cat that grew up with me when I was little, then another after that due to someone on our street's animal cruelty, then a sick kitten died a few days after my parents took it in, I think I'm going to go find my cat and hug it later

I've been living with cats since I was a little girl. And if I never lost any of my cats or kittens I would have over 100 cats. But it still hurt me to see them dying under my hands although I went through this experience so much time.

There IS NO cure for feline leukemia. Only a vaccination that only lessens the chance of contracting the disease. Nothing is 100%. Nice language by the way...

Loverboy crossed Rainbow Bridge - and you will be together again one day. My heart and prayers are with you - I have been there and lost several pets due to FIP and also fostering sick kittens/cats who didn't survive. Thank you for sharing part of Loverboy's life with us..

Cats are the coolest people I know. My last cat lived to be exactly twenty years old. She would have lived longer but she was accidently poisoned with flea shampoo. If you love your cat or dog or any pet, take them to a professional groomer if they have fleas. Please don't do it yourself. You might get lucky and nothing happens but if they do have a reaction to pesticides its always severe, and is often fatal.

Last night My cat was unexpectedly put down. I brought her in because I saw she was breathing heavily. It turned out 85% of her chest was filled with fluid, her liver was going, and her white blood cell count was through the roof. It's so sad that she was only 2.

My girl, Daisy, an Exotic Shorthair, had to be put to sleep @ 11 months. She just suddenly declined. We got her from a "supposedly" reputable breeder - so ALWAYS have your kitten checked for FLV and the other virus!

about two years ago i lost a cat to cancer it just would not eat for the whole week and then in the middle of the night started foaming in the mouth and meowing in pain so she had to be put to sleep and now i hav another cat that has cancer also and will be going into surgery next week and could die because of a big lump that is very close to his heart....

I lost my hamster recently and that was awful. I can imagine losing my kitty would be 100 times worse. Just thinking about how much I love my cat makes me feel your pain on a very deep level. But like some people below me have said, at least it's a little comforting knowing that Loverboy isn't suffering anymore.

I'm sorry for your loss; I cried when I read your story. I lost a cat to an unknown heart defect; he was fine, and then suddenly he just died within a minute. I still miss him so much. I hope your other cat leads a long happy life, and the same with any other cat you ever have.

I favorited this video because your cat was so cute and beautiful. I have a cat that looks similar to yours, her name is Miracles. I named her that because I found her in my building back in 2003 (some idiot threw her out) so I took her in. She must have been 3 years old back then, and now she's 8. But its so sad what happened to your cat. I've been taking my cat to the vet every year since I took her into my home.

I have had several cats that died from FLV over my lifetime. Vaccination is not always perfect as three of the cats came from parents with a complete history of vaccinations against FLV and I made sure they were after I got them. Do not feel bad about not vaccinating him and think only of the joy he brought into your life. I remember the joy more than the pain and it's clear Loverboy brought you much joy. Thank you so very much for sharing him with us...he was very beautiful.
