who are the actors and actresses in this movie? they're argentinian, cuban, puerto rican, portuguese, and not a drop of mexican blood. they're all white! why is hollywood so racist? come on, hollywood, put REAL mexican people there, not euro types, so the world can see what most mexicans look like! when i saw the movie i thought it was good but they could have had at least put ONE mexican person in there. at least a white mexican like ricardo montalvan. what a shame. good movie, but racist.

@fershi11 This movie is not about Spanish people, who also have mixed blood (part arabian - which are dark and also mixed) In fact, there is NO pure race, only stupid supremacists try to make that a fact.

But back to my point. This movie is about "Hispanics", meaning Latin Americans living or born in the USA.

And there's also a Central America with a whole list of 7 countries btw! (including mine: Costa Rica).

And no, the movie is not racist. Hispanics are all shades and colors.

I got this movie on dvd, on the stength that Tamara Mello was cast as one of the main characters, I had seen her previous work in the classic cult 'Popular' series, and to be honest she deserves to get more acting work, to my knowledge I dont think she did much after Tortilla Soup and that was 2001? This is just another case of a very beautiful talented actress (being politically correct 'actor') thats sunk without a trace.
