The Morphicon was a really small convention at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in Los Angeles. There were never more than 1000 fans their, and only 3 things were going on at any time. The interesting part for some people was running into the rangers in the elevators of the hotel, or on the streets of Los Angeles.

The Morphicon website was shut down several months ago, the best place to check now is probably Rangerboard. A few people were thinking about setting one up for 2009, but I think it's more likely that the second Morphicon could be in 2012, for the 20th anniversary, but even that seems unlikely. It's up to the fans to get it organized.

Thw Wild Force storyline just didn't suit the Time Force plot. If Gaoranger had had a technology theme instead of an animal based one, then maybe the Time Force cast would done what MMPR did, and just changed Zords.

There are no official plans yet. It would have to be organized by fans who get permission from Disney. So there are people trying to plan another one in 2009. Though since there has only been 1 in the past 15 years, I don't know if the 2009 one will work out. Hopefully there'll be a 20th or 25th anniversary convention.
