One of the most important things we should all share as Americans is the fear that our Elected Leaders may try to use their position and power to cause harm to Americans who have wronged them in the past.

There is one thing I have noticed in this story.

There is this odd timeing of the arrest...

I dont believe that the State cops wanted to arrest the Gov when they did.

The truth is that had Jesse Jackson walked into the Gov's office and dumped a load of cash on the desk to get the Senate seat it would have made a far stronger case for the State at trial.

So there is this chance that Obama's staff asked the State to hurryup the arrest.

But I have heard no story yet of this.

I believe that Gov Rod likes to make deals.

I expect that when he finally sees that he is in real trouble he will try to once again cut a deal.

This time he will try to cut the deal with the cops inorder to get the charges against his dropped.

Why would the State drop the charges?

The only reason I can see would be if Gov Rod says he has proof of other wrong doing by others higher up than him.

but I doubt he has anything to offer in exchange from dropping the charges.

The Gov has worked with lots of people

But Gov Rod has to have info on Big Fish.

Turning on minor players in that State is not enough to get the State to drop charges.

He has to have information on the biggest names.

One name that comes up is Jesse Jackson.

Both Sr and Jackson Jr might have stepped over the line in their doings with Gov Rod in the past.

I watched the Sunday morning talk shows and have seen about all the reports that are out and I cant find anyone who has suggested any of the Obama team was behind the arrest or it's timeing.

From what I have seen, the Gov was under investigation for a while and Obama's open Senate seat was only part of what the cops were digging into about him.

aside from a few kooks who try to connect Obama to this story out of spite I have not seen any reports to suggest Obama knew anything else.

I have not heard that anyone connected with Obama or the Obama team was in contact with the cops about arresting the Gov.

But because this came down the way it did there was no time, so, Jackson Jr is saved by the bell...
