i am not trying to tread on peoples toes here (see what i did) but maybe she was wearing the green socks because of a visual reason of the camera? Since i am a film student i know thats not the case before you lot get on my back but to pick on something so trivial is nonsense especially if you do it with something thats suppose to be contemporary isn't the meaning of this style of dance meant to be individual and expression and not so much on conforming? however not a dancer so i could be wrong.

@triggerdog12 but she's not in your contemporary class is she "triggerdog". She's an all grown up 3rd year graduate and so probably gets to make her own descisions about footwear at this point. On day too trig there will be no dance hierachy to tell you right from wrong on whether to cover your metatarsals or not. It will be a scary day from you but hopefully a liberating one, for both you and MeganKing14.

@conqueringiants ermm really the difference between contemporary and contemporary ballet is that the set movement in contemporary ballet is alot more technical it isnt always but compared to contemporary it is, where as most contemporary dance's are fully creative and abstract (not all) if u look at this solo and then compare it to christopher bruce's ghost dances (contemporary ballet) you can see the difference, just check it out :) im sure youll definately see the difference :)
