  • DAM that go's fast holy crap

  • id just say that the lower and closer the plane is the faster it seems to be going, he wouldnt be going much more than about 1000kmh, thats fast, yeah, but if he were supersonic, A. you wouldnt have even heard him approach B. it would have been a BANG not a whoosh when he when past, and like said below everyone would be writhing in pain not admiring the pilots crazy moves

  • lol, first of all it is illegal to go supersonic at that altitude, second everyone's eardrums would be permanently damaged and ppl would be screaming in pain from the sound waves

  • damn! that was pretty fast!

  • It's like; WHEW!!! **Holy Shit** Ughh WHEW!!!

  • wow any idea how fast it was going?? I know its not breaking the speed of sound because you would see the shock wave.

  • @Curicua thats only when its actually breaking it, that thing was going easily over mach 1, (around 730 or so mph)

  • @Curicua mm nm th3showstoppa is right you can barely hear it right before it passes, so my geuss is mach .9

  • @Curicua that only happens when its actually breaking the sound barrier, after that it's just going lol, my geuss would be around mach 1, give or take

  • @zevrix its illegal to break the sound barrier anywhere within 30 miles of the coastline and in civilized areas, its just dangerous.

  • this isnt one of the most fastest planes in the military but i can tell you for my its the most popular speed+stunts=best military plane

  • i think he busted airspeed regulations

  • @gypsykingg lol and would u happen to know what airspeed regulations ur talking about? i doubt it.

  • @joeymuffarco69 below 10,000 agl in class e max speed 250 kts but seeing that he is probably in class D its 200 or the minimum safe flight speed for that aircraft.. that is not .98 mach.. do you even have a clue what im talking about? I doubt it LOL

  • @gypsykingg haha i probably have much more of a clue than you do buddy. commercial rated pilot with 1 semester away from a degree in aeronautical science here. btw, military operations arent really covered in the FARAIM. maybe u should google AFI11-217 and look at section 5.7.5.1

  • @joeymuffarco69 well i guess thats Makes two of us then but the military does still have to abide by the FARs ... and if you're going for professional pilot you should at least be a CFI being one semester away from graduating.

  • @gypsykingg i never said they were exempt from the FARs, but they do have their only regs on top of that as well as plenty of exemptions from our civilian regs. hence the AFI11-217 i mentioned. btw, im actually graduating one year early to go back home as a post bac in japanese. got full ride rotc for it. going for that fighter seat of course, but pilot in general will do. so not blowing all my money on ratings right now.

  • haha crap i m on my sisters account

  • @amy96k

HAHAH ! Shared pooter.. bet iss pear

  • it isnt just the vids man i love to fly i went to fly a cesna like a couple months ago for afjrotc and i loved it and the pilot of the double engine cesna said i was really good and pointed me out of my other fellow cadets to my teacher and it made me confident and i alway did love to fly like at the airport on those commercial planes when i was young but flying again made me have a feeling i havent felt in years a feeling that was natural so i want to be a fighter jet pilot and serve my country

  • portuguese air force roooocks ^^

  • Someone doesn't understand the meaning of the word "Squadron"

  • holy crap dat was fast!!!!

  • haha alright CODE 1

  • thats so fucking fast

  • that wasn't really a squadron

  • where's the squadron???

  • the rest were going so fast u didnt see them

  • damn its right there and then its gone, sweet video

  • Nearly as fast as Obama is spending the US into bankruptcy.

  • boom boom

  • .ollolollolololololololo lmao

  • @label1877 hahahahahhaha

  • That looked fast enough to break the sound barrier, why no BOOM?

  • that was no sonic boom, it is illegal for air force pilots to sonic boom in populated areas.

  • The sonic boom is from the plane sitting at the speed of sound until the sound waves build up a little, resulting in effectively a wall of noise. This guy in the vid was going much faster than 360m/s, so no soundwave buildup.

  • because it wasnt goin supersonic

  • because it wasn't fast enough. It looked faster than other transonic low passes because it was filmed very close to the airplane, but it wasn't. A sonic boom at that distance would tear everyone's eardrums.

  • @britoca

yea, and a sonic boom actually goes BOOM

  • damn how fast was it??

  • it was very fast

  • i cant seem to bring myself to realize how fast that really was

  • nawebonada... paso como alma que lo llevo el diablo. jejejejejejejejeje

  • certain jet do different speeds at certain altitude

  • Wow...now I didnt know that...words of wisdom my friend. hehe :P

  • just adding sorry if i offended

  • No offense taken. I just htought that you were stating hte obvious and had to make a smart ass comment! lol

  • best vid of passing ever

    other slow it down

  • The plane is like:

    I'm going to Canada

    CYA!!! FLESHSHHHHHH

  • its videos like these that spark peoples interests to become pilots in the first place.

  • holy F*#K that was fast!

  • i wanna be a pilot

  • yea who dosen't know that pshhhhhh lol

  • i just cant beleive its going this fast and its not supersonic yet

  • yea i guess so ive herd that u here it as it flys bye and keeps going and that dosnt make sence

  • The pass wasn't supersonic, in the video you hear the plane before it flies past! So the sound waves were ahead of the plane meaning the plane was slower!

    An awesome Video though!

  • yeah!

  • I'm not sure that pass was supersonic but,it is close.

  • First you see the jet pass then you hear the jet. Speed of sound baby.

  • i cant believe the F-16 Fightig Falcon is going to be ritired in 2011 the F-35 lighting well take its place the A-10 is also going to be put to rest :(

  • not the A-10!!! :(

  • i know i was damnit o well its been service for a long time

  • There's an article (I'll try to link it)... taling about wasted money on these programs. I think we should acquire more F-16's for homeland patrols and just "export" the F-35...and maybe get some more a-10's. They're prove, effective, and easy to fly.. i dunno, put the money somewhere else.

  • Yea why make aircraft so complicated and expensive when they can be so simple and afective!!! F-16, F-15, A-10, Harrier, C-130,... they all proved they are the best in doing their task. Why replace them???

  • that has to be fucking super sonic holy shit thats fast but its not even super sonic yet wow

  • IT IS A SUPER SONIC JET NOOB

  • i cant here the sonic boom

  • he was fucking LOW!!!!

  • stop it on 0:04 sec and then play it it looks sick

  • how is that a squadron, that was only 1 plane lol.

  • sick baby

  • SHIT that was fast

  • yeah....

  • holy shit that was crazyyyy!!!!!!!!

  • holy sh*t! awesome

  • WOW that was fast it like disappeared at the end or i have a bad eye sight

  • no you're right it disappeared, new cloaking device.

  • YEAH!!! I agree.

  • Its so amazing what humans can do now-a-days

  • At the start of the runway to the end I put it in drag 2.5 sec. jaja shitttt fast has hell and thts only a f-16 X)

  • most likely just below supersonic speeds...and to imagine...we have manned aircraft that can fly more than five times as fast as this!

  • i wonder how fast he went ?

  • Danm thats awesome!!!!

  • BAD ASS!

  • These guys are so lucky on seen that fucking machine.... awesome

  • The Pilot doesn't need red bull after that for at least a few months.

  • bet the pilot drinks red bull

  • you hear it before you see it.. it should've gone faster

  • shit. THAT IS FAST!!!!

  • DAMN THATS LOW!

  • and slow... :P

  • lets see you get any faster

  • paus it at 3-4 sec

  • request permission for a flyby ... NEGATIVE GHOST RIDER THE PATTERN IS FULL ... WHOOOOOOSSSSHHHH... oops didnt hear you tower... lol

  • Lets see one of those boring "NASCAR's" go that fast!...

  • nascar isnt boring.

    i love it.

bt that plane was hella fast lol.

  • a vapor 'cone' appears when theres a sudden drop in air pressure around the plane, it does NOT mean the jet is supersonic.. this f16 was flirting with the sound barrier but didnt pass it. if it was supersonic you wouldnt hear it till it passes the camera and the boom would make the crowd shit themselves.. ppl shouldnt post comments about things if they dont know what the fuck they are talking about.

  • @th3showstoppa "if it was supersonic you wouldn't hear it till it passes the camera"

Actually this would be true if the plane flies much farther than the camera. If the plane flies very close to you, you wouldn't hear it coming, but you would hear it when it reaches you because even it's supersonic, the sound it produces while close to you reaches you in due time.

I wonder how such a fly by looks from the cockpit. Thumbs up!

  • @th3showstoppa

Ikr jets aren't supposed to go supersonic over a city anyway, let alone a crowd... what are these people talking about LOL

  • MAVERICK!!!

  • That was incredibly fast!

  • It's amazing how fast planes are these days.

  • Honest to God, that was just like a BULLET! Absolutely incredible.

  • damn

  • that has to be faster than the speed of sound

  • OHRLLY?

  • its not....if it was, those ppl would be blown away, and be def lol. thats proly like 400 mph

  • both wrong. if you look carefully near the beginning you can see a vapor cloud start to form. This indicates that the pilot is fliritng with mach. while he is not going faster than mach he is probably going 760 mph.

  • first off a vapor clod does not necessarily mean that the speed of sound has been broken, it just means that it's close. second, the sonic boom is what would break the glass. third, i never said the speed of sound was broken. if you knew any better you would know that mack is 767 mph. i said he was going 760

  • why wouldn't they if they werent breaking mach? and btw, nice way to sound mature by cussing and insulting. grow up. u can tell that he is close to mach by the slight vapor cloud implaying that he is withen 10 mph of 767 mph

  • and u not caring about a plane in a video is why you watched the video and tried to sound smart about it right?

  • um i watched it cuz my friend showed me dumb fuck

aaannd i could give a fucking shit about what you think.

    your noone....

  • I really just think that the way you are attempting to glorify yourself if making you look like a fool. just stop.

  • wow dude ur right i am just..uhh..the..king of..uhh..being wrong. Nice insult. Mabye u should stop focusing on your music and start writing literature.

  • and you would know that how?

  • holy shit

  • wow that was fukin awsum lol

  • At 1100ft the speed of sound is 767mph

  • I reckon he was below the sound barrier doing just over 700mph, because the speed of sound travels faster at a lower altitude, and slower at a higher altitude. Hence no sonic boom

  • anyone?

  • anyone

  • that looks well over 700 miles and hour, does anyone know how fast that is, fuck that seems really! fast!!!

  • fuck haha

  • That was good.. :)

  • these vids are good but think of how much tax payers money has just been wasted doing that.

  • ALL pilots need to log hours.. it is practice. whether they were flying low showing off or doing barrel rolls over the atlantic ocean, or bombing targets in Iraq.... they are puttin in hours. it is necessary. get over it.

  • its for recruiting so wasting? probably not alot

  • Other pilot1: "You see SNAKE make that low pass, pretty hot"

    Other pilot2: "yeah, shit hot"

  • wow very nice on my school is the same !:P when they pilots test there plane !!!

  • The F-16 was no where near breaking the sound barrier, if it were, those poor saps clapping would be deaf now.

  • Im more impressed by that amazing camera work...kept a transonic aircraft in the frame the whole time!!! amazing...and yes...the fly by was badass too

  • OMG extreme, I love flying!! =D

  • Thats so fast he can zoom off to space like a rocket lol! (dont start thinking i meant it)

  • I disagree. I think he must have been going over 800. Possibly 850. This looks to be in a desert possilby overseas in Afghanistan or iraq so I'd say he's above the sound barrier.

  • if thats american soil you aren't allowed to go supersonic, so its less then 750.

  • that's why I suggested it was overseas =)

  • hey but what about the sonic boom.

  • you mean why didn't we hear one? Well it IS possible that he broke the sound barrier miles away and then simply passed above that speed.

  • yeah but then you would still hear the Boom. would you?

  • If the plane breaks the sound barrier maybe 10 miles away no i don't think you would hear it depending on the days weather and the altitude of the plane. Also keep in mind he could have broke the barrier before the camera started filming. You only hear a Sonic Boom when the plane actually crosses between subsonic speed and supersonic speed.

  • k that kinda made sense for what i know you may be right.

  • Well I'm no expert and everything I say is just speculation. But again that plane passed the people only about 4 seconds into the video. If he's already above 800 Knots which I think he is than he could have broken the sound barrier anywhere from 15 seconds to a few minutes before filming began

  • that was well over 800 knots :)

  • dame man thats is awesome

  • foi em Alverca?

  • Where's this at?

  • That was probably about 700mph...Very niiice =)

  • Fucking hell, how fast was that?

  • Wow, that was fast!!

  • I could just imagine seeing a 15 year old being towed behind that on a scateboard.

  • "Look at that son of a bitch!" LMAO!!

  • Hey, I drove one kinda like that before...on San andreas....

  • no...not even close.

  • you musta flew a harrier look alike a hydra=av8 harrier

  • wtf was that gray streek that just went by on my screen

  • its called the F-16

  • i know what it was

  • y is the title squadron? is 1 f-16.....

  • Because he was doing the pass for the people that probably work in his squadron. A squadron is just a bunch of planes in a formation flying. It's composed of support personnel and such.

  • But it was still only one F-16 in the squadron doing the pass...

  • I meant to say that a squadron isn't just one fighter, it's composed of multiple personnel. He was probably doing the pass for his squadron personnel, thus the title of the video.

  • Well, whether "squadron" is intended to refer to all the planes in the squadron, or to one plane in the squadron plus its support crew, the wording of the title implies that the whole squadron is doing the low pass.

We would need cab0os3 to chime in to determine if he meant what you are saying, or if he simply wasn't using the term correctly.

  • I think you're reading to much in to the title. To the normal thinking person, the title implies what the video is showing. Obviously you have other thoughts on it. You should contact cab0os3 so he can help you clear your head.

  • So you're telling me a "normal thinking person" (whatever that means) on seeing the title alone would not expect to see more than one plane?

  • Yes, more than likely. But I'm not gonna argue with you about this. It is what it is. If you disagree with the title or don't think it fits the video, so be it. Let's move on and just enjoy the video.

  • HOLYMOTHEROFGOD!!!

  • that was so awesome =D was this like an airshow?

  • pause it around 4 seconds

    bad ass image...
