  • Extraordinary. Superbe interprétation. Quels doigts et quel doigté, quand même!

  • transports one to another place doesn't it?

  • I'm currently collecting the remnants of my melted face so I can watch that again.

  • I am so glad this was digitized and preserved.

  • this was 50s video!!

  • Muzikman again with the awesome video's. Chet is amazing! From 1:02 to 1:17 is insane. Even his double stop bends are sickeningly precise!

  • thanks for posting this!

  • Superb - Thanks.

  • Thanks for keeping "The King" alive on You Tube!

  • This should Quell anyone who ever thought Merle Travis was as good or better than Chet, Merle was good but sorry no match for Chet,Thanks

  • This isn't a competition..why does it matter who is better? Chet obviously was, but he would never have sounded like this without hearing Merle.

  • Chet went on past Merle with versatility, but I just loved the tone of that Special 400stronger and heavier as well as that old D-28 Martin's clean sound. I still have records Merle made with the Bigsby. It was something Merle did that hit me just right back in the mid 1940s. Later Joe Maphis could do anything anybody could do with any instrument.

  • really magic guitar!!!!!

  • The best video I have seen for month!

  • Thanks for sharing this video and Chet did work magic with his guitar playing.
