magri was a great fighter , but, his trainers let hin down badly! he could punch so he should have be shown how to defend, jab, untilthe suker punch. this is typical with our promoters: money money money and forget about training champs! reg; the mex's may have more dangerous opponents, only because they train them appropriately.

Charlies awesome, he's good freinds of my dads, I see charlie quite a bit now, he has a pub down Mile End in Kent, However charlie has a new girlfreind and shes convinced him to give up the pub. Also, charlies going to work as a dustbin man, and im not joking. All because of this new bird.... Its a shame, but if its what he wants to do then fair enough
I had the honour of being a close friend of charlie through his boxing years,he was a terrific lil Battler just as this video shows always coming forward and hitting like a heavyweight for a man of 8stone,He won the world title at an era when it was totaly unheard of when a British fighter competed against warriors from Mexico Japan and Thailand,Why he has never been honoured with a C.B.E or M.B.E for dedication to Boxing and his sport is beyond me but its never to late
