I'm pretty sure my 2008 Vette speedo is accurate +-2%. If it says 155, I'd bet it was pretty darn close. If a Lamborghini is off 14 mph at 200 mph, it means that it's "off" by 7%. The Corvette has been independently tested to 190mph so let's just say that if the video shows 155, he was doing 155!

I want the 6 speed auto as well. No chance of missing a shift and you see how quick it shifts. I have seen them run 12.30s @ 117-118 mph in the 1/4 bone stock. That is with lousy 2.56 gears. With a converter and 3.15 gears, they are absolute tire frying monsters.

Yup, my best time bone stock with only 500 miles on the car was 12.40 @ 116. Now with very light mods im running a best of 11.81 @ 119. No gear swap or converter yet. Im ordering a ECS N/A cam in the following week and will be doing that, converter and gear swap and then a hardened output shaft. Thats the winter project, ~500RWHP and 10's in the 1/4 are my goal in spring.

Bad ass car man. I am saving for an 08 myself which I'm sure will take atleast another year. I have been in a few and the LS3 made a big difference over the LS2 even with small mods. I have seen one with a cam, exhaust, tune and CAI make over 470 rwhp. That would be more than enough for me.

Thanks very much. yes, they are definitely a powerful car. A friend put an AA Vortech system on his LS2 vette and made 570 at the wheels. I wanna do the same kit but on my LS3 next summer. With a blower cam it should be making well over 600 at the wheels.

ive seen stock ones hold 1000 hp. it just depends on what your doing with it. Im planning to put a blower in it for a winter or summer project this following year, i have a friend who did the same kit and his stock trans blew after a year. Once i have the kit in i plan on putting in a built trans and diff.

the standard hp is 430 for this car. In the states for this model with the new LS3 with the 430hp goes for anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000 US Dollars.
