Nothing like a job site full of beaners, what happens when one falls and splits his head open on the wood all over the floor. not to mention they are using machine instead of hand taping this job, and in my experience i havnt met a beaner that knew how to use one properly without making a total mess and having tape with no mud behind it in spots.

Horizontal sheets result in far fewer tape seams. Think about it. Vertically you have a seam every 4 feet. On an 8 foot wall horizontally you have only one at the top (which you will have anyway regardless of orientation) and typically one long tape seam located at a comfortable height, no less. Bigger sheets = less seams. Seams can make or brak a tape job in time ande quality.

Because of the way that it is produced, drywall has a dimensional strength bias, comparable to how wood differs in strength across versus with the grain.

Drywall's "grain", so to speak, it along it's length.

For the strongest installation, install it perpendicular to the framing. For walls, that would be horizontally and not vertically.

The only thing, I can say is, they take so long to dry. I haven't compare prices. We do use the paper coated ones in 45 in or our corners.

The same day my guys finished hanging drywall, we had a few minutes before the finishers started to do their work. As you can tell, they are fast and good. If they fall down they have to buy lunch for everybody.

I agree with you, we all pay our taxes. Some of my workers don't have a medical insurance, so when the got really sick the pay the bill in the hospital, none of my workers have kids here in the states. "Don't judge the book by it's cover"

Some do, but a lot do pay taxes knowing they won't get a return. Is that fair ? It's not us, is the system, because if they wanted to have a better control, they could. Just do the math how much money they will be loosing. Then again we some of us are hard workers and some are bad apples.
