That is SOOO FREAKING IMPRESSIVE!!! dude the inverted muscle up- I thought i'd be the first person in the world to get it (never seen it b4)...dam you;) and stage 4 is freaking insane!!!! Is it much harder than stage 3? and how do u know when ur ready to progress from 1 stage to the next? when u can do 5 reps in a row or something? stage 5 would be planche->maltese->backlever->maltese->planche, like van gelder does:D
@MrArbitrager yep, your suggestions sound about right on. Although the more difficult the stages get (such as 3,4,5) the number of repetitions would be much less before moving on. I would also say use the bungee for training method or a spot from someone strong as well so you don't over strain/tear a muscle. Also, I plan on uploading a planche progression video sometime during the summer for both floor and rings including straight body planche press and regular maltese, but nothing beyond that.
Wow! excellent! that's pure rings strength! the inverted muscle up is very impressive, I had never seen it so slow; then getting back from down to full planche is amazing! you have such easyness and flexibility in shoulders, beautiful! seems like a training for sean golden routine where he goes planche-maltese-back lever-maltese-planche. Very inspiring, keep up!
@LittleBeastM Haha, nice man. Well post a video response if you get around to it. I'd like to see some other people who have picked this skill up. Peace!
