this is just my own opinion, when i first heard this song i totally related to it and escpecially that part. I take it as youve lost who you are and not being able to be your true self. I come from an abusive relationship and thats how i felt. i was so controlled by him that i had lost who i was deep inside and after years of it, that is what i felt like vacant and absolutley no one inside. again this is my opinion others have their own.

@rezchick32 yes!! that totally makes sense!! when i was being abused, i just became like, well, as she says "vacant". i shut down all emotion cuz it was so unbelievable and traumatic and i didn't want to believe this was my life and the life of my twin boys as well!! i hope you got out! it took me abt 2.5 years and several attempts, but it was worth it!
