Dissidia Tutorial (Part 1) Basics

Sorry for asking a really stupid question but how come when I put my analog stick toward or away from the guy is still the same brave attack. It only changes when I jump up and do a brave attack.

Again sorry for asking this stupid question :P

(1) Only 1 attack assigned for your Ground attacks?

or

(2) Do you have the same attack assigned to Towards and Away?

@Music4You90 Make sure you have EX Core Lock On, and Free Air Dash, equipped in your Abilities. When an EX Core is on the stage, press R + Triangle to dash, but you can dash as many times as you like (i.e. How that guy in the video did alot of short dashes) Just press them as many times as you would like for another dash, but it would be better until your dash is nearing it's end before starting another one. This can be done when targeting your opponent.

@Music4You90 Ah, you're talking about Quickmove. Some parts of the map, such as walls and edges of platforms have a Yellow Arrow by them, and if you press Triangle, you do a special action (Grind on Rails, Run on walls, and quickmove from one platform to another). What he did there was press Triangle once he was on the edge of the platform, and quickmoved to the central part of the map.

@Music4You90 On any map, if you see a Yellow Triangle when you're:

1) By a Rail

2) By a runnable wall

3) By the edge of a platform

You will be able to do a Quickmove, such as:

1) Grinding on the rail

2) Running on the wall

3) Leaping from the platform you're on to another one in the direction of where the Arrow pointed to.

@Gordelox With Dissidia being a very simple-yet-complicated game, you would expect some explaining, sorry, but all the descriptions I made were kind of mandatory...

@Gordelox Oh, I see. The process of me making this video requires me to make a replay with the following:

-Under 10 minutes

-Choose a certain aspect of the game to explain

-Play around with Exdeath so I can explain that aspect

-Planning the annotations, which makes me have parts where I'm just standing and making time.

If I were to make an audio tutorial, I would feel rushed when I have to explain something, especially when I'm trying to make it short, sweet and as simple to understand. ;_; lol

I'm getting this game tomorrow. can you tell me if it's possible to change the controls so that you use the control pad for moving? Because my control stick is slightly messed up... tolerable, but not preferable.

how do you get your bravery and hp that high, i am lv 100 with this guy, and i cant get these that high, even with the equiptments

I'm versing a Lvel 1 Exdeath, and the player with the higher Level gets more bravery at the start.

As for my HP i equipped the highest Armor and i also had Accessories to boost my HP even more to 9999.

I don't know what you mean, but this wasn't in any part of the story or anything,

This was a Quick Battle with a level 1 Exdeath, the easiest person to just mess around with, so i decided to use him in my tutorial videos.

Really, i'm not sure.

I really don't see the problem with the PSP Analog Stick. Sure it doesn't exactly 'stick out' like the other Playstation controllers, but it works smoothly.

Besides, the game would be VERY wierd to play with the D-Pad. The way you move in 3D is made for the analog stick, the D-pad would make gameplay rather....limiting in your movements at times.

got the game 3 days ago ^_^ already beat shade impulse

i switched to D-pad use in config menu and i play just fine! the analog stick just hurts my finger... i hate games where i'm forced to use it all the time (like force unleashed for the PSP >_>) (i have a PSP 3000)

yes. You can make it do the directonal buttons are move, and the anolog it camera.

In options.

yes it is. you can re-mapped it using directional button on the "options". I find it much easier that using analog stick

how do get the damn character intro (you know when they step in and not just go straight into the 'vs (insert character name here)' part)

It's one of the options...i kinda just messed around a bit until that "Intro" was added, trial and error really. Try to remember which one is which, i forgot now (sorry), but TRY to remember which one activates the "Command" attack system...You're going to kill yourself because you put it on but don't know which one takes it off.....

You should have mentioned the Brave Pool when you were describing the Break Status. Nice tutorial anyway! It's very concise and neat.
