I have to agree with mediacritic...Mistral Wind is Heart's masterpiece, and this unplugged version doesn't really fly. When the drums kick in & Ann starts wailing, there need to be LOUD ELECTRIC GUITARS. And with all due respect to Jonesy, the "string arrangements" were about as milquetoast (and ultimately unnecessary) as they come. Watch their Seattle 2002 performance of this if you want to get your shit totally blown away.

They are touring now. Saw them last night in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They played this, and I was stunned. Heavy Zeppelin influence, and Anne's voice one of the best in rock. Filled every nook and cranny of the hall. 'Heart' is one of America's greatest rock bands. I grew up with them in the 70's, and never considered them a 'chick band. but rather a band that rocked, that had chicks in it.

I never like this one.
That being said.
No matter whether it's 1975 or 2010 Ann has always been amazing at singing the music.
The voice has changed but she still is special when it comes to singing live. I think it's why Heart has lasted all these years.
They were then and still are great live. It's Ann's voice which always singing the music and not the notes.
