Besides, it can't work with EVERYTHING, as this guy claims, you can even see him leaving it attached to the marble counter without a sound. That is because the "speaker" have to be able to vibrate, and not everything vibrates that easily.

I know people nowadays use the word "literally" as the word "metaphorically", but in a commercial you can't do that ;)

My god mother got this for me, it's so awesome. I stuck it on quite a few things. CPU case, PS3 controller, toaster, box of vienna sausages, tables (just cause), Gameboy Color, plastic bottles, mugs (they're pretty darn thick so they kind of absorb the sound). I'm gonna try more things tomorrow.

I just got it today and i think the volume is too low though. You might have to crank it up almost all the way in your ipod or whatever device to make it audible at some situations.The sound quality really depends on the surface you put on. If you experiment, you can get some really nice crisp quality.I wish the wattage was a lot higher so that i don't have to turn the volume up so loud and potentially screw up this device...

Just got it and I have to say this thing is very very good! Sure u can buy some speaker but it will be a huge compering to this and this thing isn't that bad it really depends on object that u stick it as this video says huge box is the best. Only bad thing that I can say is that it vibrates off the object but it is small price to pay. And it make everything as speaker as long as object isn't massive which absorbs sound. LOVE IT! If u thing of getting one then get it it worth! My rating 11/10

This idea is ancient and been in numerable devices for a decade or longer. Ultimately, the only thing I took away from this video is how awkward the poor spokesman was throughout, becoming slightly less awkward towards the end.

My main problem with these things is that for the same amount of money, you can buy a real high-def speaker with better sound quality, louder output, and less vibrating the china off Grandma's Art-Deco glass table.

I think the Rock-It 2.0 is pretty cool, but I feel like when I unwind it I'm going to break it. It feels pretty flimsy. It's still fun, but I feel a 3.0 Rock-It could have some improvements. (Large Tupperware and dresser are my favorite, but when plugged into my PC, I can't attach it to the dresser without having it hang there, which probably isn't the best idea). IN SHORT: Was it worth the $50? Yes.
