J'en ai marre de ne pas pouvoir écouter de la musique a cause de çà!!!!!!!

A quand l'universalité de la musique?????????????????

  • Très belle vidéo!Bravo! Alain

  • the french version is very good, maybe even more than the japanese one ( the girl playing harp and singing is french )

  • I remember watching a movie about borrowers a long time ago. I hope this is just as good.

  • Before it got ruined by the English version, its sound's already raped by YouTube.

  • Dx 曲が消えた!

  • 心が幼いだけで小さくは有りません!。身長は姉より高いです。

  • Omg I love her voice....sounds like a child, and the same time mature young lady...such a beautiful clear voice!!

  • I am enchanted by her angelic voice... I can't wait for this movie to comes to the states.

  • まぁ美しい事、感動であふれます。

how beautifully intricate, this song fills me with awe.

  • これは子供には歌えないよな…

  • The Song is beautiful... I want to see the movie right now.. Q__Q

Does anyone know what song it is at 1:13?

  • @0FynnFish0 This is "Mary" on the Cecile Corbel's 2nd album "SongBook, Vol. 2".

  • Yeah I figured out recently that she did an english version too. I've heard it and it sounds great. Thank gawd we won't have to re-live that Ponyo travesty. XD

  • I'm proud that a French girl sings this marvelous song for a new masterpiece from the mythical Ghibli studios . It's simply amazing !

  • when celtic music meet japanese folk culture ^^ just awesome !!!

  • I did a loose translation of the lyric. Not quite accurate but you can get the idea ;) I'm 14 years old, I'm pretty A tiny and high-spirited lady I've always been living under the floorboards Sometimes I'm happy, sometimes blue I wanna meet someone Feel the wind in my hair Contemplate the sky And send flowers to you Out there is another world Look at that butterfly whirling in the air She's waiting for me My little world that hardly changes Isn't that bad But I wanna know a little more about you
  • wonderful!

  • I Need This Movie In My PS3 Right Now!!!

  • I am SO excited for this movie. I wish a better clip would be released. That song is beautiful....

  • i won't mind as much so long as its just the voice itself thats changed and the lyrics are as close as possible, because sometimes that can actually work

however with ponyo they changed the music itself as well, so it was like a totally different song, and a bad one too

i just wouldn't want it to be like that

  • Ah! Oh my God, she's French? That's cool, haha. Gotta love Ghibli for being so diverse haha!!!!

  • Oh! This song is hilarious!

    Anyone has lyrics?

  • @Andeberu I am 14 years old. I am pretty. Energetic and little lady I have lived in the below the floor level for a long time. sometimes feel happy but sometimes blue I want to see someone. I want to look at the sky while feeling the wind in my hair. I want to send the flower to you. The other side is another world. Hey, the butterfly is jumping. She is waiting for me. My small world that never change. I am not disliked. I'm just want to know you more.
  • @waitan117 thanks for the translation really i mean it :)

  • @legolasgreenleaff

    You're welcome.

I'm sorry in an unskilled translation.

  • @waitan117 please don't be, i am really thankful to you, its been said who's have the will to do, do more than who have the skills or who can thanks, it is a beautiful song, have good weekend :)

  • @waitan117 Tnx!

  • @waitan117 very good translation, it loses barely any of the original meaning, The last part though, 嫌いじゃないの, are you sure that translates as I am not disliked? I just want to understand because even as a native speaker I'm kind of confused.

  • I can't wait until this song comes out! It's sounds so pretty.

  • This song better not be ruined by some horrible english version

  • soo true i hated the english version of ponyo

  • I agree, I hated the Tales from Earthsea also

  • @Hakunashia you're right the american english version of Ponyo is just horrible!

  • @Hakunashia oh, took me a while but i guess i understand now, arrietty is like ponyo movie? hah!, i got to see it!, thx!:D

  • @Hakunashia just watch it in the orginal japanese then......great thing about DVD's you can watch them in all sorts of language's!

  • @KH2Fangirl it says on wikipedia that the music is composed by the French singer Cécile Corbel and that she has released the main theme song (Arriety's Song) in both Japanese and English. So you don't have to worry :)

  • @KH2Fangirl At least the English version of the theme is pretty good. It has the same singer and basically the same lyrics, so that leaves me hopeful for a close adaptation into English if they are to do another North American theater release. I usually do not hope for something like that when it comes to foreign movies, but I just loved the Borrowers so much as I child I would leap at the chance to see this in the theaters.

  • @KH2Fangirl isn't she speaking some english in the song anyway?

  • @KH2Fangirl i hope so too! the person singing the theme is not japanese though and there are a lot of english words so I dont think they'll change it. damnit I was in Japan but I got back today and just missed it!!! asaghgdhjs URGHHH!!!

  • @scorpiomooselove every time i go to japan the animations i really want to see are always couple days AFTER i leave japan....WHY??!!!

  • @KH2Fangirl there is an english version of this song, but it's sung by the same singer and is an exact carbon copy of the japanese one, except with english words.

most of the songs in the movie are actually in english, so this time there is no room for the american version to screw it up!

  • @KH2Fangirl it probably will be i'm afriad -__-

  • @KH2Fangirl been hearing Arrietty song (English version) and by the way the English version is quite good actually but I agree with @Hakunashia I hate the English versoin of Ponyo it's like it's losing the soul of Ponyo itself but The Arrietty Song English version still capture the soul of the movie itself or at least the soul of Japanese soundtrack itself (sorry for my bad English)

  • @KH2Fangirl the english version is available and it's the same chick singing.

  • @KH2Fangirl

Apparently there was an english version made by Cecile with the Japanese version, both are available on her album and I hear the english version is just as intensely beautiful.

  • @KH2Fangirl dat's alright, she already made an english version of this song. :) she got that covered.
