Don't really like how you are trying to use a massacre as justification for your beliefs. Really, I don't mean this the wrong way, but that really doesn't sit well with me.
@tehpwnzorbobz I am certainly not trying to "justify my beliefs by using a massacre." If you'll notice, we just talk about Cassie's faith and I ask a question if you were faced with the question and your life hung by a string of that said question "Do you believe in God?" would you be faithful to God or would you chicken out. Of course, that only applies to Christians. The second message demonstrated is that through bad circumstances people can be brought to the Lord in salvation. :)
HI!! I was wondering if possible you can explain what is happening in this skit a bit more! I love this song and this story! And if possible I would like to reeact this to my youth group!!! Let me know please and thank you!!
Hey, yeah on the left you see Cassie having her quiet time, reading her bible and praying and on the right the killers are getting ready for the sgootine. then the students file into the library. Then, Cassie is shot. Then the next seen is the funeral and when people come down to the preacher they are getting saved. The
point of the shirts is to illustrate salvation... leaving darkness and surrenduring all. Then after the funeral you see the kids back at school and the ones who were saved at Cassie's funeral lead more students to christ. they are now willing to say yes.
Well, we know that, and it's okay. The story still gets ppls attention and is based off of a true story, just with a different person. Also, this song is awesome, and if there was this song, but about Val, we would've used it. Alot of ppl don't really and truely know who said yes,. I've even heard them say that they asked Rachel, Cassie, and Val. So... as long as God is using this to further His kingdom... oh well. :)
Yeah, I get your point. Even though it's a myth, it has helped a lot of people and Cassie would have wanted that. It is amazing how she turned her life around. She went from a troubled teen using drugs and practicing witchcraft to a true believer in Christ, which is amazing.
About Rachel, I'm not sure what started that rumor, but that did float around for a while. The kids telling it claimed Richard said that, but he denies saying it. Her autopsy confirmed all 4 shots were fired from a distance of around 50 yards, and that she died instantly. Although Eric and Dylan despised Rachel, they called her a Godly whore on one of the basement tapes, the authorities think she was a victim of opportunity, but who knows, they could have known it was her from 50 yards away.
I appreciate what you are doing, and I too am a Christian, but you do realize that Cassie being asked that question is nothing but a myth don't you? According to every single one of the witnesses, official report, and all evidence the only thing Eric said to Cassie was peekaboo. The song is based solely upon Craig Scott's testimony, and was written before Craig realized he'd mistaken Valeen Schnurr's voice for Cassie's. Valeen was the person asked that, she lived to tell about it.
Oh! Iknow! How AWESOME?!!!! God is so awesome and He allowed me to see a total of fourteen ppl saved yesterday! It was awesome!!!!!! I perasonally lead 2 ppl yesterday at a youth group after I gave my testimony.
not much action but good story :]

It's a myth- from the evidence it didn't happen that way. Another girl was asked but not her.
