that ramp looks like a 30 degree slope...the last a saw the speed o meter it read 100 mph = 160 kmh...using basic physics..the farthest the shelby could go is about 170 meters..assuming the car has a good shock absorbing framework..one could survive and make a jump like that...

the jump was done in cgi. the beginning part of the jump and the ending part was real and it was with a stuntman. the middle was all computer.

@Veee8 The REAL Elanor was cool. In the origanal Gone In 60 Seconds (1974) she was a 71 Ford Mustang Mach 1 made to look like a 73. Real car, real stunts. The car carried its damage through the whole 40 minute chase. It had a heavly mdified 351 Cleveland 4-barrel and a NASCAR-spec rollcage. It hit a pole at 90mph and kept going. In the end jump it nosedived but kept running. Those 40 mins were alot better then this entire movie. No permits, no blocked off streets. Indepentant film at its best.

in order for that car to survive... you'd have to put tens of thousands of dollars into the suspension to make it nearly indestructible, which means you ahve to upgrade the engine to carry the extra weight... i mean, a normal car would come down and stay right where it landed. beautiful car though
