  • send it to my housseeeee

  • My question is, is what type of salmon do you buy? Is it in a shrink wrapped packaged or in the seafood department? I asked at the seafood dept. at Kings grocery store and they said you don't use this kind.

  • Omg! He's a sushi ninja!

  • So beautiful

  • Fucking Delicious.

  • My favourite sushi is spicy crab sushi. So tasty.

  • That slab of salmon at the beginning is beautiful.

  • I never knew there is wasabi inside a nigiri sushi

  • @Krisnadhuaja its optional

  • Hmmm. I think the main concern on most people's mind is how to avoid getting sick from eating raw fish. If I were to catch salmon in the ocean bring it home, could I eat the meat raw or would I have to sterilize it somehow?

  • was that "done" at the end of the video a tribute to gordon ramsay? :D

  • why wetting the knife in water before cutting salmon? Should have just wiped with sometype of moisted tower........

  • woww.. so much wasabi!!!

  • What the hell...... how did Ouran get me here? ._.

  • 3 years in school to learn how to do that. me on now, really? you can be a lawyer or an architect in three years.

  • 左利きですね。 刺身の盛りつけが難しそうです。

  • I'm going for sushi...again...

  • raw fish? isnt that bad? or what type of salmon is it? likE the kind u buy at like H-E-B or walmart? or the kind u get at like an asian market? help?? soemone please reply!!

  • @estefanyjass0 ask for sushi grade salmon to make sure its fresh enough =)

  • Fuuck, i want one NOW!

  • o serto é niguiri

  • @panico1650 tu es burro ou o que? Niguiri é aportuguesado! GI tem som de Gui. Antes de falar merda se informe primeiro.

  • @panico1650 Ah, e certo é com C e não com S, analfabeto!

  • done!!! ready to eat now hungryyyy!!!

  • i have a question, do we just have to buy regular salmon we find in supermarket?? arent that fresh? i thought those salmon found in supermarket are only for cooking...what type of salmon should i get???

  • @bLuebhErie those salmons can be used too. I bought it many times from a market and there was no problems the only problem is they smell a little bit too fishy so its not fresh enough. Better buy a whole salmon in fishmarket, make the filet u need and freeze them :P

  • @bLuebhErie sushi grade salmon

  • DONE!

  • Daw shit!

  • 強く握りすぎだ(# ゚Д゚)!!

    握りはシャリの中が中空にならないとダメだろう!

    市中引き回しの上、打首獄門だな!

  • @RX7804NT1 No it isn't its good for me

  • aren't you supposed to cure the salmon? one cannot just buy and consume salmon raw, they have to look for a certain type of salmon.

  • @Jojeeh did u get the answer to this question. I'm asking cos I just bought sushi rice n raw salmon from the supermarket to make this dish(it's my first attempt at making sushi) but I don't wanna fall ill by eating some wrong stuff. So pls let me knw

  • how do you know what salmon to use?

  • nice.. a dog food commercial before this video.. how does that make a lick of sense?

  • Looks like he's cleaning her hands on the Nigiri Salmon when he's doing it!!! xD

  • SUGOY!

  • @Lelouch799 you spelled it wrong. SuGoi

  • Comment removed

  • all that work just to tell me that i spelled it wrong, you have way too much time on your hands XD

  • @Lelouch799 well if you are going to spell a japanese word in romaji.. you might as well spell it right or not at all.. jus sayin..

  • @TheTraveler12 well i wasn't that far from the romaji word just replace Y with I and it's all good it's not like i said soogoiy or anything

  • @TheTraveler12 well i wasn't that far from the romaji word just replace Y with I and it's all good it's not like i said soogoiy or anything

  • @Lelouch799 lol.. yea you have a point there... i normally dont correct people.. and more so with this since im learning japanese and need to steer myself away from the romaji crutch

  • @TheTraveler12 oh a fellow student in japanese actually i have a test tomorrow on all 46 hiragana characters.

  • @Lelouch799 yea... we are almost to last 6 or so.. have an oral test on the other versions of ma mi mu me mo and ha hi hu he ho.

  • @TheTraveler12 after this test i might start tackling katakana lol.

  • heyy i want to make this, but i don't know how to pick the right salmon....

my parents just bought packed salmon but they said that's not meant to be eaten raw....how to choose???

  • @bLuebhErie it has to be the freshest sushi grade fish. go to an asian store like 99 ranch. make sure it is labeled sushi or sashimi before you try it raw.

  • in soviet russia, nigiri makes you!

  • Wasabi sauce is...SPICY!!

  • Cool...I like salmon very much....

  • i love nigiri! i looove raw fish!! especialy eel :)

  • @cheshire8881 It's a little weird to eat raw eel..

  • @naierer it tastes just like catfish sometimes :) depending on what you dip it in

  • @naierer raw ? i am a sushi chef but ive never seen raw eel. Mostly eel comes to restaurants already cooked and cut in slices.

  • @SakePL I've never seen raw eel dishes either, and I've heard raw eel is incredibly unhygienic

  • @cheshire8881 but the eel is actually cooked...o-o

  • raw fish are not my thing...anything raw for that matter...

  • @DonLouiVer

    Guess you don't like raw-dogging.

  • this is not the correct way to do sushi! the hand position is wrong!

  • I rather have the wasabi into the sushi sauce than have it into the shusi itself, just a personal preference.=)

  • some wasabi = HUGE rectangular bowl

  • 2 people hate sushi, 32 love it! I AM ONE FROM THE 32 PEOPLE!!!! I could eat sushi every day ! ! !

  • <3 Nigiri !

  • was sushi and nigiri the same?

  • @bangbang387 Nigiri is a type of sushi.

  • @bangbang387 Nigiri IS sushi. It's fish or other seafood on top of rice. Sashimi is simply fish...no rice. Maki are the rolls that you typically see, which include many things other than fish and/or seafood and rice, such as vegetables, cream cheese and other sauces, and pretty much anything that sounds yummy.

  • do you need the wasabi?

  • so can i get any kind of salmon from the store and cut it fresh after or do i have to get a certain kind or i will get sick

  • i work in a Japanese sushi bar, and sometimes i like to have a wank just before making sushi to make work more interesting.

  • I've never heard a more retarded way of saying wasabi.

  • I would not eat those if the chef was indian

  • i hope he washed his hands

  • MAJORLY gay

  • very good video

  • Nice food!

  • Nigiri is always served in pair to symbolize yummy !

  • @gringodeltoro1 Nigiri is always symbolized as a pair to serve a heavy dose of "I want"

  • Looks yummy! =D I love Sushi!

  • Sushi! One of the best types of food! wouldn't you agree?

    youtube.com/user/SolarSurface

  • just eat like that??????

  • I've surprisingly have never tasted sushi :/ and i would so love to taste it! it looks exotic o.O

  • Narrator (who seems to have had a former career in the army): It's Nigiiiiri and Wasaaabi. Also, this is one of the worst videos on this channel. It's too fast, the narrator still thinks he needs to drill us.

  • @coolkidlu yeah...what's wrong with that?

  • @coolkidlu youve obviously never tryed sushi before, it is really nice

  • @coolkidlu Salmon cooks at room temp so its not really raw. The other fish on the plate was raw tuna. Its taste is amazing...

  • @coolkidlu Yes it is raw, and it's yummy. The flavor is delicate and no, it's not slimy ;p

If fish is slimy, toss it...it's not fresh.

  • @coolkidlu Pretty much. Also, raw salmon is strongly antiinflammatory, meaning it reduces risk of artery and heart diseases, inflammation, and overall oxidative cell dmg. However, once you heat up or roast it's fat, it becomes mildly inflammatory. There is wisdom in the old ways, and japanese culture is about 3000 years older then western culture is. I say they'd have figured out if it was bad for you by now, don't you agree? "yuk" should apply to processed food, imo...

  • @Aethren japanese culture is only 1200 not even close to 3000 years old buddy lmao

  • one of their better vids (Y)

  • first! LOVE sushi =P
