Why is it no other railroad can make roadrailers work other than NS?

5***** and a fav on this rare classic footage. I never knew that the UP had offered roadrailer service at one time. I railfanned Mt. Vernon once in 2004, and of course times have changed, although UP still runs through there, you see a lot more action on the NS than the UP line.

Sweet!!! Now I have a reason to buy more HO Scale Roadrailers!!!! I origionally started with some SWIFT's , then I got Wabash Nationals, Then I got every variation of Triple Crown (including former UP), then it was Ice Cold Express, then ATSF, then Clipper Logistics and CN, but I never got any UP Roadrailers (surprisingly since I model UP) now that I have seen UP in action I have a reason to get some UP! :)
