  • The problem is, they're all a bunch of white guys looking at it from their own perspective: "Oh, but.. if we have a class designed for 'white people' only it would be 'racist'". On the surface, sure, but our whole history has been shaped by a white race. The dominant history we study in class is a white history. Ridiculous. This bill is a step backwards.

  • mexicans are americans and the bigots are the gringos

  • The MOST IMPORTANT thing left out in this bickering are lessons about "Fractional Reserve" & What Sovereignty means when you add it to the Founding Documents of our country.

    YOUTUBE SEARCH: "Fractional Reserve"

If the illegals keep up with stuff like Mexica-Movement[DOT]org ....

.... we may soon see the demise of the middle class. And, America can join the ranks of the rest of the world where 70, 80 & 90% live in poverty.

The USA is not perfect. But measure it by those whom want in.

  • @CaJeffO low income families usually value and advocate economic survival.. contradicting the usa;s key value of individualism. it is in our nature to promote economic survival rather than individualism. since we come from a separate culture. you should respect ours as we respect yours. we sit in class all our lives learning YOUR culture. I want a chance to learn my own now. respect who WE look up to, and we will respect your founding fathers. we arent here to fight. But be accepted.

  • @CAJeffOtwo So the things minorities & homosexuals talks about being oppressed you think it's racism.. how do you explain Arizona's fascist government banning books about someone else's perspective of American history such as the book "Rethinking Columbus: The Next 500 Years"? Its how Indigenous people were oppressed by colonialists & their struggles from them yet AZ's gov banned it Once again AZ's government is advocating fascism, hiding the truth & want history done only in their perspective

  • @CaJeffO okay. you're saying the ethnic classes specifically benefit a personal ethnicity alright fine...well CLEARLY the usa's mandatory European and us history isn't teaching about 1 specif ethnic group -.- have you ever personally been to an ethnic class? i took a chicano history class as a college course in 10th grade. from personal experience i can guarantee you.. the last thing we talked about was overthrowing the government.. or hating it. did you know in sociological statistics..

  • @xxmetioqurexx Apparently you are incapable of understanding plane truth.

  • Every student in a high school Spanish class gets ethnic studies of our fastest growing subculture in a beneficial inclusive rather than racist separatist way, We need to give all students better understanding of any American subculture that they are going to inheret this land with so they can all get along peacefully and produce achievements together not disintegrate into rival gangs hating each other

  • @Texasjim2007 i agree so tell them that.we tried and tried to get along with these people but they are impossible, unreasonable people so forgot about it signed fed up with illegal aliens in california!!

  • When 50 per cent of the students in a class had Mexican ancestors and the other 50 percent had African ancestors obviously the teacher needs to focus on the history of their African and Mexican ancestors in America but that doesn't require encouraging racist separatism or scapegoating all their problems on some other ethnic group, There are good and bad individuals in every ethnic group in America

  • American history classes shouldn't be teaching little Barak Obamas to hate their own mothers for having White Southerners from Texas as ancestors or uncritical favoritism of African grandfathers who reject their mothers for being Christians and do nothing to help support them over Texan grandfathers who paid their bills and defended their rights from Nazi socialist racist religious bigot tyranny in WW2.

  • Americans come from every nation on Earth. History classes should be teaching each individual student the history of their own family without favoritism to one over another or racist stereotyping and demonization of anybody's family background the Marxists have distorted our history by doing for decades because they feed on hate.

  • Banning it in the public schools where they pay a teacher, now if they want to have a Ethnic Studies Club - that would be totally cool! I don't want to stop anyone from learning whatever they want to learn...that would be crazy!

  • Anyway, my point, is that their beliefs are there own and I have no right to seperate them from their beliefs, I tolerate everyone's right to learn what they want. They must tolerate my beliefs as well. I don't believe they must pay for my Theology and I don't believe I must pay for their Ethnic Studies - neither are essential courses in high school, let alone an American public school!

  • @lladnarg Ethnic studies should be seperate I never said you should pay for it, but banning it just contradicts the word rights which American citizens barely has fully fledged rights

  • When did I say they "waste" their money?

  • Comment removed

  • But I would not want to pay for those things either, an education is not WHATEVER people want to learn. Let students get the basics in public schools first. Then after graduation they can choose to pay tuition for Ethnic Studies, Medicine, Law, etc! But kids in high school are not being deprived unless we are NOT teaching them the same things! Besides, these Ethnic Studies are being used to turn young men and women into anti-American Marxists with and giving them reason to feel victimized!

  • @lladnarg as a matter of fact there is "Christian Studies" it's called Christian Theoloy

  • @uncleruckus714

Yes, and it is taken after one's journey through the public school system! I'm sure you can imagine the unbelievable uproar if there were a Christian Studies or any religious studies being taught at a public school, no? Yet as a Christian myself, I would participate in that uproar! There are some things that public schools should stick to and there are things they should stay away from, no matter how tempting they are to offer. Ethnic Studies is one of those things : )

  • @lladnarg It causes an uproar if you are not open minded and have trouble tolerating people's beliefs and religion and the public schools should be seperate.

  • @lladnarg And if you think people waste there money on Ethnic Studies then let them be becuase it's their money they earned it through hard work I think they should have the right to take a class they are interested in. Ethnic studies is no different than taking Guitar Classes or Dance Classes or Hip Hop Classes. I thought Capitalism lets us spend our money freely? Your comments has one contradiction after another

  • I see, so Christian Studies would be OK then?

  • @lladnarg Atheist and Agnostic Studies would be ok too that's why we should have freedom or rights in America

  • Comment removed

  • That's because the state of Arizona want to keep the Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton POISON out of Arizona! It's time to make education EQUAL! It should be MANDATORY to teach all kids supply side economics and basic business start up! "Teach a man to fish, he eats all of his days!" The Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton way of teaching blacks to accept government hand outs creates a climate of laziness and makes people feel like someone "owes them something!

  • @prophetbyronmotley But I also want to learn about my roots, struggles and history and also the stuggles that others have fought like Irish Americans or Mexican Americans or African Americans because we didn't sing kumbai ya together and you can't just wipe out part of the history and pretend it didnt happen.

If you wan't "Equality" then let us learn about out pasts and stop hiding it

  • @uncleruckus714 America has TRIED the Jesse Jackson way, that's to take a RUSTY GINSU knife and jam it into a HEALING wound over and over again, instead of promoting the politics of healing and forgiveness! This is why we need to separate atheism from state, because God blesses those of a forgiving spirit! We NEED to teach forgiveness! We need to teach love, we need to teach understanding and promote unity! It's either "united we stand," or "divided we fall!"

  • @uncleruckus714 The ugly history is there. The graves of fallen heroes like Dr. Martin Luther King and Abraham Lincoln are but a sample of the blood that was lost for the freedom we gained. In the hallows of history in many books and in outstanding programs like "Roots" allow that only the willing ignorant shall NOT know history! The dream Martin Luther dared to dream is coming true, even as people like Jesse Jackson profit from needless pain infliction! continued........

  • @uncleruckus714 The demonetization of the innocent without word prudence is an abomination that boils the blood of justice in the Mighty Jehovah God! This is the SIN and EVIL Jesse Jackson MUST account for! He has kept his brother poor with deceit. He has slandered those of good will by turning angels into devils! He has cried wolf to the point where then white heart is in danger of being cold! Make no mistake, white America has damaged the black man, but what Jesse Jackson is doing is profane!

  • @uncleruckus714 I bleed for the black American man because he is so misunderstood around the world! Blacks from Jamaica,Haiti, Cuba, Africa and other points around the world look at us as FAILURES! They believe that if you cannot succeed in America, you do NOT deserve to live! Ask them, if you doubt me! Jesse Jackson has taught us to whine and complain, the Bible says, "teach a man to fish and he will eat all of his days!" The black American man simply needs an education. continued...

  • @uncleruckus714 My brother, my black American brother; the road Jesse Jackson wants us to travel is keeping us away from the prosperity called "the American Dream." We built this nation of dreams, it's time to quit staying in the nightmare of our past. We must place our trust in Jehovah Almighty, and allow Him to lead us! His son Jesus Christ said, "forgive them, for they know NOT what they were doing!" The same goes for our slavery and Jim Crow days! Please, it's time to go forward! God bless!

  • @intelligentlman as much as I love peace we have to remember our past or else we will repeat it and we might end up repeating the holocaust or the crusades or the jim crow laws and many dark histories.

And I don't care much about Jesse Jackson or even influence him, the people I influence are MLK, Gandhi, Caesar Chavez, Nelson Madela. They simply didn't walked on petals of roses they had to sacrifice alot to end ignorance nd hatred, fogetting what they have done ends up in bad results

  • @uncleruckus714

You can learn all of that stuff, but not at school, not this way!

  • @lladnarg That's what ethnic studies are for, it's optional and seperate just like religion separate from state. If I am interested in learning about Chicano, African American or Asian American or LGBT studies I take those classes if I'm not interested I leave it alone and quit getting my panties up in a notch like. If we continue to disallow what people want to learn about than that just contradicts the word "Freedom" or "Rights" in America

  • @lladnarg

Being "not allowed" is one thing, "forcing us" to pay for it is another. I have no problem with the idea of a private school teaching whatever it wants to its customers/students, that is the wonders of Capitalism. If you are forcing the public to pay for it, than we have a say in what it can or can't be. That's the difference! Besides, this stuff they are teaching if VERY offensive and downright subversive/treasonous!

  • @lladnarg If if it's offensive than don't go to their classes and stop getting you panties up in a notch and deal with the fact that people are interested in taking ethnic studies. If a LGBT studies talks about murdering 6 million straight people than that would be offensive if it talks about their struggles in a society that dosn't accept gays, lesbians bi or transgendered than the only person who finds offensive you

  • @uncleruckus714

Why wouldn't I find a class that does all of the following offensive?

    1) Promotes the overthrow of the US Government

    2) Promotes resentment toward a race or class of people

    3) Is designed primarily for pupils of a particular ethnic group

    4) Advocates ethinic solidarity instead of the treatment of pupils as individuals

  • @lladnarg

1: you may think they want to overthrow the government but that's not their intentions of Anarchy there intentions are all about pride. If pride means overthrowin the government in ur perspective you need to study more on the definition of the word Pride

2: I grew up in a diverse neighborhood and I don't resent anybody same with alot of people I know that takes Eth. studies

3: ANYBODY can take an ethnic class, I'm straight yet I like learning about the LGBT studies

    4: ...

  • @lladnarg 4: again ethnic studies focuses more on people's ethnicity and culture, if you think it's racist then leave it alone and let people learn about it.

  • @uncleruckus714 - The real issue is not history. It's really about replacing classes like "History" & "Social Studies" WITH "Ethnic Studies" & "Mexican American Studies".

In the books used it in these classes they teach "Racism" + "Hate" + "Kill the Gringo" & groups like "MEChA, La Raza, Lulac & MALDEF become social clubs ... ... YES I have proof!!!

    Look for the document named:

  • @uncleruckus714 ---- If you don't like the rule of law where all people are protected from crimes of racism? Then get out. I have studied this issue very well and your side of the argument is moronic at best.

  • @CAJeffOtwo "If you don't like the rule of law where all people are protected from crimes of racism?" Thats the dumbest shit i've ever heard of, ok imagine if Martin Luther King Jr & Rosa Parks got out of the country because they didn't like the Jim Crow Laws. Your saying my argument is moronic yet can't come up with a logical argument yourself, your a dipshit.

  • We won't teach ethnic-history studies because it would cause an uproar. Why is that? Because the truth is ugly? Like Marcus Garvey said "A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots" They would rather u not know true history because it doesn't benefit them in anyway. Not telling the whole story is just as a bad as lying because it gives the recipient a distorted vision of what really happened, thus keeping them ignorant. Part of the plan!!

  • @dpressure7 - The real issue is not history.

  • @CAJeffOtwo Actually no it's American history from a Chicano's perspective, from a Homosexual's perspective in America, from an Asian American's perspective in America, from an African American's perspective from America & etc. How can you deny homosexuals & minorities their rights to learn what they want to learn?

& it's not replacing history it's just giving us an option to learn about it

  • Geez a class only for one race. If only I could have taken Caucasian studies instead of history classes that covered history from every race, ethnicity and perspective. That way I wouldn't have had to learn about all races and ethnicities. No George Washington Carver, Pancho Villa, Sitting Bear, Martin Luther King Jr., Che Guevara, Shaka Zulu, Attila the Hun, Sequoya, Pablo Neruda etc.

  • Then can we the white people learn how to Shoot & exterminate hispanics in school??????????

  • @hardcorenyc hey fuck u buddy

  • Hey um.. WiZ.. You misspelled ignorance.. ^_~

And the first "your" in your comment is a conjunction of two words, you are so.. It should be "you're".

The title of this video screams of attention getting. Tom only got to talk once and the other dude ate up the whole last half of the interview trying to prove his view was somehow "prop-able". I don't mind ethnic studies so long as each section of each culture gets its own alloted time and European studies are included. It's simply fair.

  • You Tube search for "ron gochez" and you will see who wants to teach the kids and what they want to teach them.

And let's not forget the events at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill.

This is not a game, people. There is an organized effort by the remnants of failed Mexican anti-government forces to bring their "revolution" to the United States southwest, under the disguise of "immigrant rights" and "hispanic pride" and "indigenous peoples".

  • Not even watching this video yet, just clicked a random link and read the title, i say: WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!

  • IF white people where not DEVILS the history on blacks and other races would be some what ok

  • @xWiZxKiDx

Yeah, because white people stole the black man's history and left him in a mud hut south of the Sahara. Otherwise the world would know that the Greeks, Romans, Persians, Scots, Chinese, Olmecs, and Dukes of Bavaria were all negroes. Oh, and Benjamin Banneker invented time and astrology. He Jean Dixon. Yeah, that's it.

  • @Gulfporter lol your stupid. if white people did not fuck up the history maybe they could teach it but it to bad and sad to some people...did u get that

i'm going to have to right a book on ignorants its flooding the internet lol

  • "ethnic studies" = hate whitey

  • Thumbs up on HB2281. The 'ethnic studies' program was being used to help indoctrinate Hispanic youth to favor Mexicans and to frown upon Americans. It was just another part of a long-term project to 'reconquer' the homeland. All of this being funded by taxpayer dollars, no less. Mr. Horne and many others saw through the deception and put a stop to it.

  • @scasired, well i hope they do just as good at the ballot. last time i checked tucson was hispanic.

  • What was not mentioned is that in the "Raza" studies it's taught that America is occupied Mexican land and Americans are oppressers. Whose side are they on? The professor thinks that there is not enough literature about ethnic groups in the social studies books of today and that may be the case but off point. Let's not segregate, alienate, and propagandize or change the American point of view. Should we teach the Nazi point of view and describe how jewish people are bad? NOT! Were American!

  • Wake up people. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!!!

iT AINT ABOUT RACE ITS ABOUT MONEY CAUSE HE WHO OWNS THE SECRETS OWNS THE LAND.

  • why doesnt anyone talk about the Laraza movement?

  • GROWN ADULTS AND CHILDREN SHOULD KNOW WHERE THEY COME FROM AND WHAT RACE THEY WERE BORN INTO. IF UNITED STATES IS THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES, LET THE CHILDREN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN WHAT THEY CHOOSE TO WANT TO LEARN, WHO THE HELL THINKS THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHAT CHILDREN SHOULD BE LEARNING.

  • @JoannaH2889 YOUR OWN VIEW IS EXACTLY WHY THE U.S.IS CLOSE TO DEAD LAST IN THE WORLD IN ACADEMICS ON ALL LEVLES, BUT I BET YOU KNOW WHO WON AMERICAN IDOLE, SIMPLY PATHETIC, VIVA LOS 1070 ADIOS!

  • @JoannaH2889 I don't think you can allow children to choose what they want to learn, otherwise they will be playing XBOX all day! Duh!

  • Thouse rules are ridiculous, are they saying that if our goverment turned against us that we should let them do it and ignore the constitution all together which gives us free speech and the right to throw out goverment if need be?

  • That bitch is going to get ride of immagrents and now Ethnic studies wats next Religions, culter or maybe she will get ride of african americans or asians

  • The US is a mixture of races, that for some reason came to the US and the study of their arrival is good. Just to know how communities arrived in the US, I don't see anything wrong with that. In 2010 there are still communities separated by race, churches have services in different languages for different racial groups, but I don't see that as bad or good, it just happens that people feel more comfortable to use their native languages.

  • @roberes34 I agree the United States of America is a country of mixed races. High School is not the place to create separate classes to solely teach Hispanic, African, European, Chinese....culture. Children in America are sooooo lazy they are lucky to be able read, write and do simple math questions when they graduate if they graduate! They need to stick to the basics on American history; I would be happy if they learned the Constitution. Save those specialty classes for college.

  • @bradkeough okay but what if there are high school student who aren't simple minded and want to broaden there spectrum and learn more, or what if they are hispanic, african american and want to learn about the background history. High scholars are not all that lazy and to improve they all need to learn about the world.

  • my childern are white dutch irish if they want to offer ethnic stuides they need to provide it For them TO! if they can not or will not then the ethnic studies is crap and needs to be shovled into the crap pile

  • @slayerkendra They already do have European studies.

  • @ucsb1985 AMERICA IS A MELTING POT MY POINT IS WE DONT SEPERATE WE JOIN TOGATHER AS ONE WE DONT SEPERATE KIDS AND TEACH THEM TO HATE EACH OTHER

  • @slayerkendra It's more separatist if you don't tell the entire history of the US. If you have only one narrative that excludes roughly 40% of the entire population, that creates more friction. If you offer courses to teach different aspects of American history and society, that creates MORE cohesion. Most people in ethnic study courses are not minorities, at least at my alma mater.

  • @ucsb1985 how about a class that teaches kids that freedom isnt free that they are free because our men and women fought and died for it. how about teaching them that loveing GOD is the best and greatest way to peace. How about teaching them that old glory is the most beautiful flag on the planet and they are lucky and blessed to be born in america

  • @slayerkendra God is the best way to peace? Is that why the most atheist nations on earth also have the lowest crime rates? Is that why Jihadists attack? Really? We do teach that men and women fought for our freedoms. That has NOTHING to do with ethnic studies. Not to mention, not all of us were born in America (half American born abroad here). No it's not the best nation, there's no such thing...but in order to make it a better nation, we should at least focus on rectifying past disparities.

  • @ucsb1985 God is the way to peace states the person whose profile indicates we need an armed militia...

  • @ucsb1985 MY FAITH TELLS ME THAT LIFE IS PRECIOUS IT IS SAD THAT IT IS DIFFERENT TO OTHERS BUT TELLING KIDS THAT ARIZONA BELONGS TO MEXICO AND SHOULD BE RETURNED TO MEXICO IS JUST CRAP IT TEACHES KIDS THAT AMERICA IS NOT A SOVERIN NATION. AND WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN ARIZONA THAT DO NOT WANT TO LIVE IN MEXICO WHAT DOES LA RAZA SAY SHOULD HAPPEN TO THEM

  • @slayerkendra You're a hypocrite. Simply put. You're also a bad speller. You're also illogical and hyper fanatical. What you describe is such a small fringe that the vast majority of people discredit. However, when you push the way you do...this gives more credence to this fringe. You and Arizona are contributing to the collapse of a moderate society. That's not a good thing.

  • @slayerkendra whatever it is that happens to conquered people. enter into the void of history. everything that happens is fine until it happens to you, eh?

  • @slayerkendra which is exactly what the sociology professor was saying. instead of getting rid of the Mexican ethnic studies. Just make an ethnic studies class that covers more than one culture.

  • Let them ALL in, let them ALL learn English. If you have problem with either, you're racist.

  • In the constitution it tells us if we don't like how the government is working we can dissolve it.

  • I like how the leaches of America love this hateful shit. What African, Latin, European country would you want to live in? These shits want a free ride & feel sorry for their stupid ass. They will not go back to the shit nations of central america or go back to africa. Why-- because they know they are shit & want to live off us as leaches & our hard work. F-You losers! U are such loser f-ups. Thank God 4 the drugged out loser obama, pissed us all off, & the the CrimeInc is going to lose.

  • @pmesser1 You're just making yourself look stupid with all of your "shits" and confusing sentences. A bit of advice: if you're going to call us leaches, make sure not to sound belligerent. Once you're done reading your grammar books then maybe you will have the aptitude to study your ancestry. I'm sure your relatives came to America for the same reasons we do and they were treated the same way we are being treated. You're generation of brainwashed stupidity is NOT making progress.

  • @orangececi Oh wake the fuck up. What are you illegal or a lazy bitch? Your la raza racist crap is fucked. Come up here bitch and I will educate in what losers are and shit is, and why America is the greatest nation. You fuck up Obama drones are just shit. I am so glad that drugged out homosexual bitch Obama with sinclair, young, and his admission to drug use is amazing. That loser bitch and you do not have a clue.

  • @pmesser1 honey. my family has been in the U.S. for more than 7 generations. I'm not lazy. I'm not illegal (nor is anyone in my family, considering our roots have been in texas since before the U.S. claimed it at the Alamo). My "familia" pay taxes and I'm in college at a great university because I earned it. Your assumptions are a prime example of the typical American assumption that when ppl say Mexican, they mean an illegal immigrant.

  • @orangececi Your the racists you "la raza" fan. How much government/tax-payer money do you/su famila take in your special "affirmative action" give aways. I hear in California after the main graduation they have special black & latino graduations just for those races. Now that is racist. There is a reason Mexico is so corrupt, poor, deadly, and a third world nation. Of course they want to blame it on the gringos. Those racist pigs will never take responsibility for anything.

  • @pmesser1 and if we're lazy how come Mexicans, as well as many other minorities, are the ones doing the jobs that your Caucasian counterparts won't do? Just like everyone else, we work to keep a roof over our heads. what part of that is lazy??? and please. if you have the means to educate anyone, it is on your irrational method of ranting. I could go on and on with a more educated response on the inequalities in the world. and you would just say "F-You! lazy bitch illegal" yeah..good comeback.

  • Tom Horn and Joe Arpaoi don't even fit the Characteristics they are trying to shove down peoples throat, neither of them are pale skin, mentally stable or skinny reminds of some old guy named Hitler who didn't fit in his own perfect demographic he was Jewish, ugly, and not a blond lol

  • Communist governments are known to oppress groups that plan to overthrow the government.

  • Keep in mind that Arizona just passed another law right after SB 1070 was signed. It prevents Anti-American sentiment, such as the advocation of the overthrowing of the United States, from being taught in our public or charter schools. Yes folks, schools in Southern Arizona were teaching one sided ethnic studies and teaching children that the US belongs to Mexico. Arizona stopped this seditious treason from Mexican Imperialist Racist Groups such as La Raza by passing SB 2281.

  • I live in a free country-America! Land of the free and home of the brave! Those communist oppressors in Arizona are creating the beginning of the end of freedom in America!

  • GET ILLEGALS OUT!

  • So the bill prohibits segregation in schools?

  • Which college did Brewer go to?

  • As I said in my video, the classes are not illegal, but if a school has a class that preaches racism or anti-Americanism, then the district gets punished.

  • ethnic studies are racist, but it would be just as F'd up if they didnt exist, part of the problem conservatives have with them is that kids are being exposed to che and communism, I think all kids white black asiasn should be exposed to critical viewpoints of american nationalism but thats no happening in traditional class , BUT when its an elective that's 95% chicano, all we're doing is segregating by color and continuing to build walls instead of unifying, its all one big clusterf**k.

  • I feel for any brown person living in that fucking HICK state!

  • Raping, pillaging, murdering, and colonialism, etc...has been apart of the Western/European history from the beginning. All Arizona wants to happen is to white wash history so that all children will learn about is how great White people are.

  • @moonphoenix1

That's exactly the opposite. Arizona wants to prevent schools from teaching that one race is oppressed by another. This would allow them to investigate curricula and monitor teaching strategies to prevent the teaching of hatred. I'm for these classes, it's great we offer the teachings of another country's history. Just do it in a matter that is respectful to all races and backgrounds. That's all this bill wants.

  • @moonphoenix1 we are great

america would be a shit hole just like mexico and south america if white people did not come over here

    white people make everything better

mexican men made good target practice back in the day

    we took the southest

    those were savage times

the browns skins and red skins were killing each other left and right

dont act like they all lived in peace and harmony back then

  • @mikefnm I see that you are just commenting to bash people with your nonsense. What do any of your comments matter to the video in question? Every single country & its people have problems. Why point out something in history that is basically irrelevant to what's happening now? Also, you should stop talking about white people that way... you are making everyone look bad. You should learn a valuable life lesson. All humans should be treated equally and you are no different from any other person.

  • @mikefnm I get where your harsh opinions come from but you should also be more open minded. Show a little more sensitivity towards such a delicate topic. And you shouldn't ignore what I just wrote. Just really think about it from another point of view. Put yourself in others position. I believe that people can change their ways when reason kicks in and they shut out the talk of the people who influence their thinking. It just takes time. Think for yourself.

  • @mikefnm Racist.

  • @nocturnezero did your fish taco mother

take that donkey dick out her mouth long enough to teach you that word?

  • @mikefnm Actually, she just sort of moved it to the side of her mouth and muttered it to me. That's how I learned most of my vocabulary.

  • As an African american person "traditionally" we don't learn enough about African Americans or, women ,or many other sub groups . All teachers have SOME bias their not all robots. Also there are many white kids that want to learn about other groups of people.

  • @blueiguy1 Yeah. I'm taking African-American studies next year because I have genuine interest in the history and culture, and because I someday want to go to South Africa. I'll get back to you on whether the class tells me to rise up and enslave the white man like the Head of the Arizona School Board thinks it does :)

  • As usual...

M.E.D. so eloquently and cohesively puts it down, lock, stock and barrel.

p.s (...and verbally bitchslaps a dumbass motherfucker upside his pasty, ignorant Pillsbury dough-boy head)

  • who gives a crap about what CA thinks or is going to do?

its terrible that they'd boycott arizona over something that studies have already proven the majority of the population agree with.

  • We are all AMERICANS! Not mexican-american or asian-american but american. However... there isnt anything wrong with educating students on other people's ways of life and backgrounds.

  • @cwwr7 But those things kids can learn better in their homes. That is where their roots are. It's not something that you can let some person teach your kids about one's "heritage" because you don't know what they're teaching them. In those classes, the teachers were using them to create resentment between races; which is clearly wrong. It shouldn't be that way because sadly it influences their future actions and opinions. The teachers' opinions are personal and they should keep it that way.

  • @czrl2008 Fair enough. I do agree with that. Well said.

  • @cwwr7 no such thing as an american I'm Cuban and proud of it . of course there is no such thing as a cuban race either. however I believe this is a melting pot and I will not assimilate and loose what I am.

  • Now she's not just attacking the illegal ones she's attacking the legal ones. Nazi bitch.

  • freedom of speech is gone

    no more expressing yourself

  • Oh, btw:

''To achieve world government, It is necessary TO REMOVE from the minds of men THEIR INDIVIDUALISM, LOYALTY TO FAMILY TRADITION, NATIONAL PATRIOTISM and RELIGIOUS DOGMAS...If it cannot be done gently, it may have to be done...violently.''

    - G. Brock Chisholm, The Re-Establishment of Peacetime Society

No ethnicities allowed in the melting pot!

    All slaves are created equal...

  • Tom Horne wears an Edgar-suit...can't fool me, roach...

  • this is law is ludacris

  • @hectorhjm19 you are ludacris

  • This law promotes equality between races, so why do people complain? It's what should be done. That's all. There's no class that teaches irish, italian, german, (etc) kids about ethnic solidarity, so why is it so wrong when it was eliminated for mexicans? It just taught them to be different and remain different. The US is about meshing all races. It is a country built that way.

  • Sir if you dont know where you been, then you dont know where you are going.

  • Michael Eric Dyson can rant like few others. I wish I could take one of his classes.

  • How the hell did Tom Horne become a superintendent? He is a fricken' idiot, and HE'S running the schools? So sad, ignorance teaching ignorance.

  • I took a Chicano Studies class once. The teacher tried to arise sympathy in the class for a tagger who was shot by a white man in Orange County. These classes are just bullshit and I AM LATINO TOO!

  • I am ok with it. Chicano Studies is bullshit and most ppl who major in this crap end up flipping burgers

  • arizona best place to live in the whole wide world

  • @mikefnm If you're white and look white.

  • @PrezAlex no if your american of any color arizona is for you. arizona is not for some 3rd world shithead trying to rape and murder americans

ariazona is what america is all about

    americans 1st

we gotta protect ourself from 3rd world shit baggers

    mexicans want the southwest back

    they already lost that battle

now they public schools wanna teach them about aztlan and la raza

fuck la raza the mexican taliban

  • @mikefnm "mexican taliban"? Wow you are off your rocker and way out of touch. "3 rd worlder" now you are just making shit up. Be angry at yourself. dont take it out of the people your are intimidate by.

  • @dude12nothin mexican taliban that's right just like how you liberals shout racist and nazi when someone has different view then you

are your saying that mexico is not a 3rd world country?

look it up that's a fact

i'am a american not intimidate by anyone

i have no fear of 3rd world shitheads

i just want them back in mexico were they belong

    this is not aztlan

america owns the southwest not mexico

what state do you live in?

    do you hate america?

  • @mikefnm The adjective 3rd World Country does not apply to Mexico anymore, according to mexican scholars, a more appropiate title is "developing country" (kinda like from third to develope country, sort of second world...)

According to FORBEs the richest person in the world is not Bill Gates anymore, but a mexican called Carlos Slim, he is very very rich, but at expense of mexicans.

  • @mikefnm Im a constitutionalist first off and I complete agree that our border should be controlled and an illegal must become citizen or be deported. However, the answer is stop hiring them. No money then no reason to be here. Also, letting the police detain someone because they have decided a person looks illegal or not and then having the ability to detain until they prove they are an america is racist and unconstitutional.

  • @mikefnm I understand America should control their borders but fact is that immigrants keep coming because the money offers are still available. Like @dude12nothin said: they should just stop hiring illegals. That's it. Most of them will stop because there will be nothing they can get from the US. And to be fair, when I say illegals, I mean ALL of them, not just mexicans.

  • @czrl2008 most illegals in america are mexican

not all but most of them

that's because their right next door to us (duh)

mexico sucks ass so they come here

in american we love our drugs and hookers

it brings lots of money to the mexican mafia aka the mexican goverment

  • @mikefnm What you said, about mexicans raping and murdering, is stereotyping. Not all people are like that, just like not all whites are weird hillbillies or live in trailer parks and just like not all blacks are from the ghetto. Its stupid to stereotype. You find the most amazing people in all ethnic groups. The specific people that commit the crimes should pay, not everyone should pay for what specific people do. Don't generalize because it just shows ignorance.

  • @czrl2008 not all mexicans are rapng and murdering but alot are

mexicans join gangs and steal people's id

la raza the race hate white people

    aztlan is a joke

    brown pride is ajoke

how can you have pride when your country is a 3rd world shithole

  • @mikefnm brown pride? wow. ok. They have pride in their CULTURE, their HERITAGE, their ROOTS. Their pride doesn't exist when it comes to what's their country become thanks to their government. Those classes were meant to be used for learning about those things but sadly they weren't. Teachers influence kids into resenting races. People (of whatever race) who make it about skin color are ignorant.

  • Ppl approving this law are just ididots

  • In the real world we must acknowledge that society does NOT treat everyone the same before we can get to the point of treating one another as individuals. Instead of doing away with ethnic studies, why not address these complaints about racial hatred in these programs, if such a thing does exist.? Why do away with the whole program?

  • Tom Thorne is not the racist one. I completely agree with him. Dividing history by race will just make students believe they are oppressed. Getting all wild up and thinking that you are oppressed now because our ancestors were oppressed is wrong. Oppression still exist but its not as bad as in the past.

  • Thank you Arizona, getting rid of MECha was the best move any state could do. MECha did nothing but teach HATE. I watched it on campus for years and it was unbelievable that our tax dollar would fund something so hateful. Good job Arizona.

  • I hate that Wall.

  • Someone got owned

  • The funny thing is that Horne is actually advocating the integration of all those subgroups while the Gtown prof is essentially opposing that and protecting his niche.

It's ironic that the "racist" is the one advocating inclusiveness and the "oppressed guy" is the one preaching segregation.

  • What about "ethnic studies" concerning the so-called "holocaust"? Will such evidence as the Red Cross' 1948 report be presented, which, based on the ICRC's 2,000 camp visits, reveals that deaths in the camps were mainly due to "the barbarous aerial warfare" against civilians and infrastructure?

    Search the web for:

"A Factual Appraisal by the Red Cross"

Or will German-American students simply be told the standard line that "German Christians 'genocided' the German Jews"?

  • wait it a minute...all other courses in school is pretty much White american history...I doubt any class is going to teach me about asian american history...

  • Go Arizona, I'm all for it!

  • brewer is a cunt

  • Horne has got a point.

  • @future4you

Yes, and its on the top of his head, .....or sheet

  • @bluenotejazz That class is a waste of tax dollars. Its the equal of government funding Klan rallys. Screw that class.

  • I do believe i'm seeing Arizona seceding from the union O_o
